Incredible hair cut on a first try with Brooke. This will now be my go-​to Salon. Thanks, Groupon, for enticing me to try. Looked gorgeous on my trip to Paris, Venice and Dublin!

Brooke and Leah are my favorite!!! They spend quality time making sure your hair is exactly as you want it!!! I leave with flawless results EVERY TIME! I REFUSE TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE! Great with color, cuts, and extraordinary blowouts!!! I have really thick curly long hair and extremely particular about my blowouts. Fabulous job EVERY TIME!

I was in town and badly needed a haircut and some blonding-​up. I chose Salon B for its location and hoped for the best. I cannot recommend Brooke enough. She gave me a great cut — longish layers and my color is fantastic. It’s worth my traveling to Scottsdale just to get my hair done!

WTF — WHY THE FILTH
The same coupon mentioned by another reviewer brought me here, except I just came for a basic cut.
The salon feels like a 16 year old girl’s bedroom during a slumber party: chatterbox females squawking with each other plus girlie magazines and three or four hairbrushes lying around. WITH HAIR ON THEM.
The cut took all of 15 minutes and was confusing. She cut hurriedly holding the scissors with two hands and went straight into styling my hair. The whole thing felt rushed, like the coupon was getting me a discount on quality, too.
She grabbed a hairdryer and my world went into slo-​mo as I looked in the mirror and saw her reaching for a disgusting round brush on an ottoman that had been sitting there since I came in, majorly wrapped in a ¼ inch of other people’s hair. In my mind I was thinking OMG NO. OMG NOOO. OMG EWWWWWW as she began blow drying and foofing my hair out with the grody brush. That is how people get psoriasis and lice. I probably have both now. Let’s hug.
In the end the cut looked okay when I left the salon but my head was so itchy that I washed my hair as soon as I got home. Once I combed it out the right side was longer than the left and my bangs had a weird slope.
I would contact the salon to get a touch-​up and complain but it was just so dirty in there that I don’t ever want to go back.
I’ve been generous and given this place two stars because they do free bang trims. I guess if you like your haircut and don’t mind the grimy setting then this is a nice plus.
I feel bad calling this place out so hard but I am being honest. Like my boss says about business in the current economy, only the best should survive. Major improvement needed. This place feels ripe for fungus.

I went here to use a BuyWIthMe coupon for hair color with Brooke and she was fantastic! I get very picky about my hair color and usually have to spend an extremely long time emphasizing to hair stylists that my hair pulls very warm tones and that I want my highlights to be very ashy. Usually, this results in a lot of backtalk, confused looks, and general fear on my part about what they are going to do. But Brooke was great. I didn’t even have to finish talking before she just said «ok, yeah I got it». And she worked so quickly! I got partial highlights and low lights, and was out of the salon in probably an hour. And for once, the time flew! Brooke was so fun to talk to. I learned all kinds of new things about the Year of the Rabbit and when an Aquarius is born in the Year of the Monkey.

Really the only thing you have to know is this, You will leave Salon B and Brooke looking far better than you looked when you arrived!!! Brooke has been doing my hair since she came to AZ (or pretty close to it!) and my daughters hair since she was too young for me to remember. We both have thick, course hair, the type that most stylists have nightmares about… but not Brooke. She is a magician with our hair. As a matter of fact, I trust her soooo much, that when I see her, I let her decide what color we are doing and if she is going to put in highlights, low lights, chunky color… it is always up to her and she has NEVER let me down. Not may people can say that they trust their stylist they way we do. Not only that, but she is fun to talk to, down to earth and HUGE hearted. We have sent many people to her over the years and will continue to do so. You should be one of them!

My hair takes its natural style and color from the scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz. Finding a stylist who can work some magic on it has always been tough. Finding a good colorist? Practically impossible.
Long story short: I had a hugely important meeting on short notice, and couldn’t go looking like Phyllis Diller. A friend of mine recommended Brooke at Salonb. She said Brooke was the best colorist in Scottsdale. I have to agree – Brooke got me in on short notice and did a miraculous job on my unruly locks, sending me home with a new look that worked great for me, and a fantastic color that made me look about fifteen years younger… and believe me, I needed it. She’s great to talk to! I’ll definitely be going back to see Brooke… nice to know my temperamental hair’s finally in good hands.

I know first hand how important it is to find a good hair stylist. Brooke was my stylist for years when I still lived in AZ. I had to move to Illinois 3 years ago and still haven’t found a stylist who even comes close to her in my new town! It is so frustrating how no one out here gets what I want. Every time I went to Brooke, she knew exactly how I liked it and it came out perfectly each time! I miss her so much and am planning on seeing her as soon as I come home for a visit so she can fix my hair!!!
