After several years, of searching for a good(i.e. knowledgeable, current, caring, reliable, etc.) hair salon — and being disappointed time and again — I have found a wonderful boutique salon, in the heart of Old Town. Kristine and Vincent are seasoned pros, who spend time, getting to know you — listening to you — and consulting with you about color, style, and manageability. The client is definitely the focus of the process and is involved in every step. The end result? Speaking for myself, I love it! I am so pleased and have already had numerous compliments, which admittedly, I welcome. Who doesn’t? I found Salon Tour de Force, via Wendy D.‘s 4÷10÷2009 Unilocal review. I found it so believable and could certainly relate. So thank you Wendy, wherever you are.

I have finally found it! I have searched the world high and low for an awesome hair stylist and salon. Not a good one, not a great one, but an awesome one! I’ve been to high end, and low end. But no one has met my expectations and knocked my socks off until I met Vincent and Kristine at Salon Tour DeForce. I was introduced to Vincent through an image consultant because at over 40 years old, hey, we all could use a little help on our image. My biggest image problem has always been my hair! Because I have a triangle shaped face, I have found it hard to find hairstyles that I was really excited about. When I have gone into a salon in the past, they stylists didn’t seem to have a clue how to match hairstyle with your facial shape. But Vince was different. I underwent a total hair makeover. He measured my head and my face, poured over photos, asked tons of questions, and finally came up with a suggestion. I told him he could do whatever he wanted and he did! I went from having shoulder length hair to very short hair. What I noticed immediately is that I instantly looked 10 pound lighter!(I wish that translated to my hips) I still can’t believe it. If you’re looking for a total makeover, a celebrity experience, similar to «What Not to Wear» but better, try Salon Tour De Force. They are the absolute best!
