Salt River Landfill

Its a landfill, enough said about that… there are a few things to keep in mind. Number one, THEY ACCEPT CASH ONLY. Second go early or be prepared to wait. Third, don’t go in the commercial lane unless you have an account, it just messes everything for everyone else… dont be a jerk and get in the correct lane. Lastly, it is almost all native Americans that work there-​its on the Salt River Reservation-​and they all seem angry but remember they work a garbage dump all day… Give them a break!

Salt River landfill is pretty nice as far as dumps go. I have been going to landfills and green waste dumps for over 10 years. Their prices is about average and they are about average for time in and time out.
The only major negative things I can say is they have pretty high requirements to set up a commercial account and they only accept cash.

Very unpleasant, unhelpful, no public relations skills, middle age, heavy set female employee in the front window, where you register. We came on December10 with our City of Scottsdale bill that was issued on October 24, 2013 with due date Nov. 16 and she refused to let us use the dump unless we have the next month bill or to pay her cash. I choose to go back home 20 miles each way for the latest statement and brought that one, but this time she noticed that my name on my driver license is hyphenated due to my recent marriage and on the bill my name is still with out the second part, so she again was refusing the service to us and again ask us to pay cash. And when I asked her who made these crazy rules, she turned it around and yell at me «What did you call me, what did you call me?» At that point I went to City of Phoenix landfill and pay them as a none resident of PHX rather than dealing with her person.

For being a DUMP, should expect much more.
Flys, stink, garbage, dirt, and everything that comes with.

Its a dump! what more can you say, do we have any other options-​really??? … wasn’t to pricey but I don’t know what dumps cost these days. stinks like a dump. This is the end of my review. Hope you get a chance to visit this place soon.
