When I first moved into these apartments they were excellent. The staff was friendly, and it really felt like a nice little community. About a year into living here the entire office staff was replaced and that’s when things began to go downhill. All of my neighbors ended their leases, yet I made the mistake of renewing mine. In the last month there have been 3 vehicles broken into. Someone completely shattered my girlfriend’s car window, and took anything of value inside of it. New occupants regularly scream and fight with each other outside well past midnight. Despite all the positive reviews you may see about Scottsdale Belle Rive from a couple of years ago it’s no longer the same place. These apartments have seriously gone downhill in the last year. The friendly staff has been fired, and the good occupants have fled. I definitely will not be renewing my lease, and I strongly recommend thinking twice before renting here.

I lived at the Scottsdale Belle Rive for a year. It’s a good place to live. Prices are pretty cheap considering it’s so close to ASU and Old Town Scottsdale and not a dump. The pool is really nice. The weight room is on par with any apartment complex. Being so close to the loops 101 and 202 also makes it really easy to get around the valley from here. If you’re in a roommate situation or have people over a lot, I highly recommend living on the west side. There’s a lot more visitor spots on that side. The only negative to that, is you can only turn right when leaving that side, so you have to make a u-turn at Granite Reef every time you want to get to the freeway. Management is very friendly, but a little flakey. There’s usually only one person in at a time, so every now and then you have to wait on someone. They also will tell you that they’ll have something done for you in a day, but it will take two or three. But everything gets done, and they knew my name, which is better than a couple places where I’ve lived.

The staff here is very nice and easy to talk to. Very understanding of students and situations to do with Financial Aid. Very nice community and surrounding area. Major discounts for ASU staff and students for the whole term of your lease. And 5 minutes from Tempe Market Place, 30 Minutes from the Air Port, and 10 minutes from ASU.
