As a property owner, if you have property to rent and need a property Management Company STAYAWAY! They over charge on repairs, are unresponsive to rental inquiries, customer service is unheard of. They don’t seem to talk to each other in the office and they don’t check the property unless the owner says something. Rent is collected on the first but the owner gets rent payment usually around the 23rd of the month. I’m not sure how these guys stay in business, but I guess they have figured it out over the years.; most likely uninvolved snowbirds keep them going.

These guys rock. They take care of everything and keep me updated with payments and expenses. If there’s any issues with the property, they’ll email or call right away. I’ve use them for about two years now and they do excellent work.

AWEFUL company. Do not even bother paying $ 43.50 application fee with this company. They will decline you in a few hours and state it is illegal for them to tell you the reason why you were declined. I paid $ 87 total for myself & co-applicant. Within a few hours they said they had to pass on our application. How can they make a decision without actually processing the application. I know my credit is fine(I just ran my report), clean background, job history is good. I’ve never been declined for a rental. Obviously this place is just trying to collect money for applications prior to renting the home or something. 10824 E. Arcadia was the house I placed an application for in case your looking.

Just wanted to give an update. The PM company still has yet to notify me the house I rent from them is in foreclosure, in fact they keep insisting that it is not — public records disagree. The house is up for public auction today. I have been very stressed out for months because of this and my children are extremely upset. No communication what so ever from Shield, very disappointing I would hope they would notify me and maybe even help me find another place to move into.

My roommate and I were trying to rent a house from these guys and they were the most unprofessional landlords I have ever dealt with. They encouraged us to pay $ 70 to apply for a house that already had APPROVED applications on it and once we paid the money to run our apps, they called us to say that the approved applicants came in with a deposit. We were just out the money, our credit had been run and we had no where to live. Plus, it took over a week unreturned phone calls and messages before the owner, Lloyd Tindell finally answered his cell and told me that he wasnt going to refund the fees and that when I own my own property management company I can decide to run it however I want.
