Dr. Bersoux practices at Mayo Clinic, where I receive cancer treatment. The clinic coordinated my first medical visit with her to coincide with the day I was to receive chemotherapy. When traffic delayed me for ten minutes, I telephoned the doctor’s office, and I was told to still come in. As I Iiterally walked into the lobby, they telephoned me to tell me I was too late and the doctor would not see me. I implored them to reconsider, telling them about the coordination with my chemo treatment. They were unrelenting, with the nurse saying she could not help it, this is what Dr. Bersoux had instructed her to do. I asked if they would at least put me on a list to replace a cancellation, and they very coldly told me they «did not do that.» Furthermore, they told me that the first appointment I could get was five months away. Would you entrust your care to this person?
