I’m glad to know that I’m not the only one to pick up on the attitude in this sorry excuse for a business! Went in to get fingerprint clearance card. They acted like I was a total inconvenience and had interrupted their conversation. They took my prints and then they asked me to look over the card and verify that the info was correct. I did, never actually touching the card, they never asked me to sign the card. They sealed the envelope and said that they have to mail the package. That was over two weeks ago. Today I got my application back from the State saying it was rejected due to the fact that the card was not filled out properly. I took it back to The Spy Shop, and asked why it was not completed properly. He looked at it and said that the reason it was rejected was that I had not signed it. I asked him why he didn’t check it before he mailed it, he had no response other than, it’s no problem, we will redue your prints, and send it off. I asked again and got the same response. When I stated that it was a problem, I can’t start my job until I, get the clearance, the whole situation really got nasty. Terrible customer service, they wouldn’t apologize when I asked them too, never acknowledging that their mistake is costing me money and maybe even jeopardizing me getting the job. I really think that something else is going on there besides the store front. Very rude behavior. I asked who the owner was, and he stated it was a privately held company and that he did not have to give me that information. Once more I stated that all I wanted was an apology, for someone to act like they were sorry for the inconvience, he asked me to leave the premise! Worst situation I have ever experienced! I recommend never using their services! I had to give one star to post this but I actually give them no star at all!

To the Know it all that answered the phone and was being rude– There is such a thing as wire free video surveillance. Just because you haven’t heard about it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. I decided against going to your store due to your attitude.

Over priced. Pretty simple. Charged me $ 500 for a $ 300 product. DON’T GOHERE. Or rather… go here and waste their time for me. They deserve it. You can look at products in person to see what they are, but don’t buy it here, you won’t get a fair price. They know they are overcharging people, or they would have better service. Refused to accept a return, even when warned that I would leave this review. Obviously don’t care about their reputation and are only existing to rip people off. Let’s make sure their mistake costs them more than the $ 200 they didn’t deserve to get from me. Let’s put them out of business. People like this don’t deserve to reap the benefits of the American economy.

My father and I came to the store specifically to ask about a particular gadget that is pretty common at stores of this ilk. Spy Shop isn’t close to where we live(Tempe and Chandler respectively) but we love places like this(mostly from my memories of «Spy Headquaters» in Mesa when I was a kid). We travelled the 20 miles just for this store. As soon as we entered we asked the gentleman behind the counter about the gadget and he barely looked up from his desk(he was sitting working on a desktop computer.) The way he looked at us was as if he was at his home on his computer, and we had accidentally wandered into his living room to ask about surveillance equipment. His tone and attitude wasn’t like someone who worked at a store. The way he spoke to us, with extreme annoyance permeating his voice, was almost as if the Spy Shop makes money some other way than selling items to customers, because whatever he was doing on his computer seemed of extreme importance, and our desire to purchase things seemed like an after thought. I hate to say this, but with the invention of a website called Amazon, you can’t afford to have employees who are rude like this gentleman. We came to the store at roughly 3pm on Thursday, May 1st.

I needed a fingerprint card for the DPS so I could do volunteer work with the VA. Spy Shop was closest to my home so I went there. Very professional and very simple. $ 15 and 10 minutes and I had what I needed. No dirty ink. Done with a scanner, very cool. Highly recommend them for this task.

Don’t trust this place! They sold me a camera without an adapter that would not work. Then they would not return it. They also sold me the wrong camera. Bad place! Stay away they are not honest.

BUYERBEWARE The SpyShop located at 9393 N. 90th St., Scottsdale, AZ85258(480) 314‑3710 Items at the SpyShop are extremely overpriced and they have a no return /no exchange policy. Their items are common and are available at many other outlets that allow return and exchange, just check online. The SpyShop is a good place to get ideas, but a terrible place to buy. Example: Olympus VN-6000 Voice Recorder SpyShop $ 89.95 Staples $ 39.95 $ 32.60 DONOTMAKETHESAMEMISTAKE I MADE PLEASEPASSTHEWORDALONGSONOONEELSEGETSRIPPEDOFF…
