If I could give a 0 rating I would. After getting a prompt response from the Director of Operations, Jimmy Davenport, and then a quick follow up phone call from DJ Matthew I thought we were off to a good start. I arranged a meeting with DJ Matthew and even prepped questions to get answered. Needless to say DJ Matthew stood us up and after waiting 40mins we left. I emailed Mr. Davenport to explain what happened and instead of treating me like a client and having some sympathy he questioned the events. Oddly enough DJ Matthew decided to text me right after I sent the email; 1 hour after our meet time.
All I can say is don’t waste your time. They are very unprofessional and when planning your own wedding you should be treated with the utmost respect by all venders. You should NEVER have to defend yourself when, you the client, has been stood up.

We were extremely pleased with the level of service we received from Starz Entertainment. Our first contact was Jimmy, who was very polite. After explaining what we were looking for in a DJ, he suggested that we meet Bobby. We had met with a few DJs before and were a little hesitant and undecisive on which one would be the best fit for our wedding. After meeting with Bobby, we knew instantly that we wanted him as our DJ. We were extremely impressed with his professionalism and personality. He was reliable, flexible, and professional prior to and during the entire event. In addition to having an awesome DJ, Starz Entertainment has an online website where we were able to customize the timeline and playlist. This was an excellent tool that allowed us to adjust it to our personal preference. We would highly recommend Starz Entertainment, specifically Bobby, for any upcoming events.

My wife and I worked with Jimmy at McCormick Ranch in Scottsdale. His timing is spot on, and he kept a fun loving and smooth atmosphere the whole night. I would highly recommend Starz Entertainment.

Jimmy did an absolute amazing job as our wedding DJ. It’s the only wedding I have ever seen where the dance floor was PACKED all night long. Not only was his playlist amazing, his ability to keep everything organized and on track was very key. We actually didn’t have a wedding planner, and without Jimmy there to basically run the show, I’m not sure what we would’ve done. His assistant Carie was awesome as well. She played a really key role in keeping everything up to speed and organized. We would highly recommend Jimmy and Starz Entertainment! SUPER IMPRESSED!!!

Jimmy D with Starz Entertainment did a fantastic job providing us DJ services for our wedding and reception. Jimmy D has a great and well-​deserved reputation in the DJ community. We are lucky we were able to hire him to DJ our wedding and reception. He has many years of experience and it shows. He was energetic and super professional in every aspect of the planning and execution of our wedding and reception. He answered our emails immediately and met with us several times before the wedding to make sure we had everything set up the way we wanted. He spent hours before and after, setting up to make sure the lighting and sound was the best it could be. He had great suggestions for songs and activities and helped make our wedding and reception absolutely perfect. It was seamless, and everyone had a great time! We highly, highly, recommend Jimmy D and Starz Entertainment for DJ services!
