Sherrill has been waxing my brows for years and she does an amazing job! I’m in and out in 15 minutes. The room she uses is beautiful and relaxing. I haven’t tried any of her other services but if I ever want anything else done I will definitely be going to see her.

WORST PLACE EVER!
The salon was not good neither the treatment of the manager. Was the worst behavior I got in Scottsdale salon. The staff was awful, rude and not approachable. never felt welcome by salon staff. I got vibes that I am disturbing them, they were busy talking among themselves. This was the worst salon experience I ever had, would never recommend anyone to this salon. I can not give zero star here in Unilocal so giving one by default (zero star from my side)

This review is in regards to my hair stylist Emily Lopez! As a girl with really long, thick hair, I have serious trust issues with my hair stylists. I knew that I had found the right girl for the job when Emily exhibited great confidence as soon as I sat down in her chair! Most stylists will make comments about, «Oh, my! I’m not sure how to go about this!» Or «Let me go talk to my fellow stylists to see what will work best.» No one I have met has radiated with as much confidence in cutting long hair. She makes you feel absolutely beautiful from the beginning of your cut and beyond! Nothing feels better than someone stopping you to tell you that your hair looks fabulous or someone saying, «Your hair is so bouncy!» Emily is the only person I will trust and I can’t thank her enough for making me truly feel beautiful and confident in my own footsteps!!!

I got my hair bleached using Olaplex with Emily. She’s amazing. This was a few weeks ago, and my hair still feels amazing despite having had my hair bleached through for almost 7 hours. Olaplex is fantastic, and I’m glad I found someone who uses it and uses it well!

Had a fabulous pedicure with Jennifer at Steven Paul Salon! She takes her time, has great attention to detail, and is a pleasure to talk to. It felt truly like a spa pedicure — very relaxing. Loved it and would highly recommend going if you’re looking for a wonderful experience.

I really like this salon. It’s a very fun space with a lot of talent. I was happy to find a Scottsdale salon that isn’t stuffy and pretentious, and that’s exactly what I found here. I think it’s really neat that they also have a deli and boutique for clothing and jewelry. It’s not a typical Scottsdale salon, and that’s what is so great about it.

Emily Lopez is amazing, she fixed my dark hair to a gorgeous healthy looking blonde. She was able to fit me in quickly and really listened to what I was wanting to achieve. Finally found someone I trust for bleaching & keeping it gorgeously blonde & HEALTHY.

I just went to Emily Lopez for my first time and am absolutely thrilled! I can’t wait for people to ask me where I got my hair done so I can refer them to her! I’ve been going to the same person for 8 years back at home and have finally found someone JUST AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER! Emily is passionate, patient, and knowledgable. I sat in her chair and instantly trusted her. The entire time she taught me exactly how to keep my hair healthy and. blow dry my hair. Any question I had she could answer. I promise you won’t be upset if you go see Emily!

Being fairly new to the area I went to Groupon to check out salon’s. The one I got was with Brittany Rud, I thought she was very professional and I am very happy with my haircut and color. I will definitely be back to Steven Paul to see Brittany! And I would recommend the salon and her to anyone that needed a haircut.

Nothing spells «trust» like an incredibly short hair cut. I had a hidden desire to move from a chin length bob to something more.striking. Susan Kennedy helped me realize those dreams.
Let me be honest. My stomach fluttered as the scissors started to do their magic. I had thoughts like, «OH no! What about my ears? Do I have nice enough ears for this?!» (Susan laughed later. She had scoped my earlobes out prior to agreeing to change my hairstyle.)
But having a Pinterest board and having a hairstyle you’ll love are two different things.
I love my hair.
A visit with Susan is a delightful way to spend time. Like visiting a friend you’ll laugh, snort (she’s funny!), relax and leave feeling fab. Not only will she happily spin thru pinterest boards, she’ll be creatively constructive and, most importantly, honest. This woman can cut all lengths of hair and colors with ease.
This salon is decorated tongue in cheek. Gargoyles greeted me from surprising ledges. If I had known, I’d have budgeted more time to grab a bite at reception. Super cute place in Scottsdale with my favorite stylist!

EMILY LOPEZ has been my hair stylist for 10+ years. She is an expert in color and style and the only person I trust for my blonde hair. The color is flawless and my hair is never damaged or brittle (a truly amazing aspect of Emily’s care for hair).
Extensions by Emily have helped allow me to change up my style throughout the years. I have stubborn hair that doesn’t grow beyond a certain length and the Easi Hair tape in extensions have given me the long sexy hair I have always wanted without the damage of the sew or glue in product.
I would give EMILY LOPEZ my highest recommendation for all things hair!

The first pic was my hair before I saw Kristi. It was the result of my hair being dyed 3x in 36 hours (the last 2 times were the attempts to blend and fix my hair-​to no avail). I found Krispy and she fixed my hair and turned the coper and yellow blonde to a beautiful some-​what ashy blonde (what I had asked her to do) and made my ends match my roots (in one session). I’m so thankful I found my new hair person. She’s great company and knows her stuff (a former educator as well).

Emily Lopez at Steven Paul salon took me from a brunette to a platinum blonde! She used olaplex and my hair feels like silk. Absolutely no breakage! Emily offers 50% off to new clients. She books her own appointments at (520)-349−3265.

I throughly enjoyed my haircut at Steven Paul. I was with Mark Loposky and he was amazing! Two thumbs up for Mark! Side note, I adored the mural on the ceiling at the hair washing station. It was beautiful.

My sister came here with a groupon. Brittany R. Was very unprofessional telling us about her older bf and cursing up a storm. Then she offers to «sleep on it» n come back for a correction when my sister didn’t really get the style she wanted. Half of her coloring was even incomplete!
After my sister texted for a follow up, Brittany blames management that she can’t correct it and has the nerve to blame my sister for her bad job! Come at your own risk!

I’ve been seeing Heather H. since I moved to the valley 6 years ago. We’ve done all different things with my hair over the years. I’m very particular with my highlights and I walk out happy (and perfectly blonde) every time!
I moved from Scottsdale years ago but she’s is 100% worth the drive. I would recommend anyone to Heather! You will not be disappointed.

I’m afraid I can’t even write a review that will do justice to the talents of Emily Lopez at Steven Paul! My mom, sister, and I first visited Emily in 2011, and we’ve never seen anyone else since (I have panic attacks when I even think of the prospect of moving out of state and letting someone else besides Emily do my hair!).
Emily always gives you exactly what you want, except better than you had ever imagined it yourself. She is so tuned in to each individual client’s personal style and works with you from there. You always leave Emily feeling like a better version of yourself!
On top of all of that, Emily is a lovely person and you will look forward to every visit with her. She is also very flexible in terms of fitting appointments into your busy schedule and is always there for you when you need to get in touch with her! I’ve recommended Emily to many of my friends and they all loved what she did with their hair. You could be next! :)

This review is specifically for Emily Lopez, as she is the ONLY ONE I go to at Steven Paul Salon. First and foremost, let me say that I moved out to AZ from NY about a year ago and Emily is the best hairdresser I have ever had. I had to move from hair salon to hair salon in NY because other hairdressers would butcher my hair. The first time I saw Emily she asked me what I wanted to do with my hair and just told me to trust her — and I am so glad I did. She took my messy jungle of hair and turned it into this beautiful haircut and style that was full of shine and full of life. No one does a long layered style like Emily. Hands down, her hands are gold.
I came back to her a month later for highlights and this was by the far the best experience I have ever had (i later came back for more highlights because she did such a beautiful job). EVERY TIME I see Emily I get compliments on my hair and in fact I got so many compliments that my fiancé left his barber and is now seeming Emily on a consistent basis. She’s the best and I would never ever go see anyone else. I am an Emily customer for life. Emily is #1.

Heather Howarth has been my stylist for more than 10 years. I feel lucky to have found such a wonderful stylist and person. I always get so many compliments on the color and cut. She asks a lot of questions to make sure you get what you want, and she will suggest new looks. We have had fun with my color and cuts over the years.
Heather is very nice and fun to talk with. It makes the time fly by.
I always walk out of the salon more confident with my beautiful hair. I wish I could take her home with me to do my hair every day!
