This isnt my first time getting sugared but I was still nervous being that it’s been awhile and a new place. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and was helped quickly. I was offered some water and was seen right away once I was done with the small paperwork. I got there almost 20mins early for my appointment and McKenzie was ready for me. She was very nice and polite. Didn’t waste anytime and got right to work. We talked and laughed while she did her thing. She was very accommodating for me when I experienced slight pain. (It’s been about 2 years so the pain wasn’t too bad.) She was fast and helped me book my next appointment. :)

I have such sensitive skin & was tired of getting my brows threaded because it’s so painful.
I came here & got my brows waxed & my brows were shaped perfectly & I didn’t break out afterwards like I usually do when I’m waxed.
I’m so happy with the outcome!

LADIES… Don’t wax, SUGAR! I had never heard of «sugaring» prior to arriving at this «sugar spa,» and I am SO glad I decided to give this a try! If you currently wax (eyebrows, face/​lip, bikini-​area), you should be sure to give this a try first! Though there is still a «little discomfort,» it is NOTHING like the pain of waxing! Lacey is phenomenal – she takes great pride in her technique (and as gentle as she can be) and very knowledgeable about the process! Highly recommend! (And they have a «loyalty program» as well). I’m hooked!

MacKenzie is the best. She is an expert in her field and will provide you with amazing results! Also when it comes to my lash extensions Natasha is my girl. She is the best at explaining the different varieties of lashes and also her technique is flawless. She is very good and takes her time to make sure I leave with the best looking lashes for me!

Beautiful, comfortable setting and everyone is SO nice! This was my first experience with sugaring and it went very «smoothly». I only wish I’d tried it sooner!

I was introduced to sugaring by a friend from Ohio. She started doing it 2 years ago and hasn’t touched a razor to her bikini area since! Having recently moved to AZ and in need of a wax, I decided to look up sugaring. Sugar Sugar had great reviews and an open appointment, so I decided to go for it. Ladies, I’m telling you, once you experience sugaring you will wonder WHY you ever put up with waxing!
Tarah was my sugarist for my Brazilian. She is so sweet, made me completely comfortable, and definitely knows what she’s doing. We chatted the whole time! I kept waiting for it to «hurt» but the worst of it was mildly uncomfortable. Granted, I’d gotten a wax 4 weeks before, so my normally thick hair was finer than usual. But the fact that it didn’t rip my skin to shreds and I wasn’t bleeding (yes, I’ve BLED from waxes before) was just amazing.
For me, a great customer service experience is just as important as the product/​service a company is selling. Sugar Sugar’s customer service is top notch and I commend the owner (who I met but whose name escapes me!) for hiring an excellent team. I will absolutely be back!

I love this place!
Environment: Clean, welcoming, organized and very calm.
Products: I love how healthy and safe the products are. You can count the ingredients on one hand. I have sensitive skin and have no reaction or irritation after use.
Services: I have had Brazilian and Eyebrow hair removal. I love how just your hair is removed and not 3 layers of skin-​like hot wax. You are still removing hair so it is not the best feeling in the world, but nowhere near as painful or torturing as waxing. When it is placed on my skin I had no idea and when it is removed I was not really phased. Tweezing is more painful. I was very pleased with how neither area looked like it had been burned or irritated. I was surprised and happy with how long it took for my hair to grow back.

Staff: The attention to detail and making sure you are 100% satisfied is so refreshing and rare in companies these days.
The front desk girls are amiable and educated on products/​services. Whether booking an appointment or checking in/​out for one you are always taken care of with caring service and attitude.
I have had appointments with Crystal & Lacey. I can honestly say they are awesome!

–My expectations of the appointment and that we are both on the same page
–Informative throughout session about service, product used, other product/​service options that I may be interested in and why, as well as home care and suggestions that fit my routine and lifestyle
–NO forced pressure to buy anything or sales pitches

After trying sugaring in LA I was SO pleased to see that someone in AZ was offering this amazing service! EVERY woman needs to ditch shaving and waxing immediately and start getting SUGARED! Their website explains the whole process in a easy to understand way and once you experience it for yourself you will never look back! WAY less painful then waxing, no redness after, and super soft skin from the exfoliation the sugar offers!
The place itself is beautiful, welcoming and extremely clean. The staff is amazing– Seriously, every employee I have met has been so great! Bonus, their location is next to Nordstrom rack ;) I also started getting organic airbrush tans here and now go once a week! Their monthly membership for airbrush tans is $ 69.
Overall, I am SO grateful to have found this innovative and beautiful salon and I recommend it to everyone I meet!

I was traveling out here for the wknd and decided to get sugared. As a sugaring specialist myself, I found it hard to find a qualified sugaring practitioner back home.
I had found a few places on Unilocal that sugars and I chose Sugar Sugar based on its reviews.
This place knows how to sugar! Esthetician Crystal was amazing. She is professional and knowledgeable. She was able to manipulate the sugar in such a way that my skin was not irritated. The pain was far less than any waxing. I just wish she lived in FL. She’s really that good and worth every penny. While sugaring costs ac little bit more than waxing, the results are far superior.

Crystal is absolutely amazing! Very professional, friendly and excellent at sugaring! Make sure you ask for her, you won’t regret it!

After winning a gift certificate here from NBMA Photography, the photographer that did the fabulous promotional photos for Sugar Sugar, I was excited to try out this sugaring biz on Frank Lloyd Wright and Scottsdale Road, between the Cox store and Nordstrom Rack.
Sugaring is very similar to waxing, but is MUCH less painful, in my personal opinion. I mean, they’re still ripping your hairs out of your skin, so I’m not trying to say it’s going to be a cake walk. But the sting isn’t near as bad. And with my incredibly sensitive skin, this is a proven option for me. I kinda really love it here. Aimee, the very sweet owner, welcomed me in when I showed up with my gift certificate and told me all about the shop. I also like that they send me emails when I make an appointment so I can go and put it in my Google calendar later. And when I’m done with my appointment, there’s dark chocolate and a refreshing cup of water waiting for me while I check out.
This place is officially in my regular rotation.

Loved my experience here. It was my first time sugaring and so much better then waxing!!! Girls you need NEED to sugar! If you are thinking about doing it just jump in!
The owner is super nice and the girls are great! Most gentle hair removable you could ever do. Even takes longer for hair to grow back.

Why are more people not Unilocaling about this place? I have been in search of a place to get sugared since moving to AZ and I don’t understand why there aren’t more places for this service. I’ve been to the 2 places that offer it now and let me tell you… SUGAR SUGAR is the place I’ll be going back to! I periodically get waxed in a pinch and I always regret it. Getting sugared is the way to go and Nicollette did a great job! So excited to find this spot!

I found this place at women’s expo and had to give it a try. I’m the typical wax eyebrows kinda girl but when I heard sugaring hurt less I wanted to try it! Booked an appointment with my mom and sister and we all loved it! Nicolette is such a doll, best technician ever. Aimee is very a great owner, I’m glad she brought this shop into Scottsdale.
