This facility was selected by my doctor for a nerve block procedure. As I checked in on Unilocal to remind myself to review, I saw the reviews and started to feel rather upset. However, my experience was very pleasant. The staff was nice, friendly and kept me well informed on what was going on. The procedure was relatively painless and as soon as I was in recovery, I received my ginger ale, procedure information and post-op instructions. The only two things I can fuss about are: The reception area is in a different building than where procedures take place. Consequently, a nurse walked another lady and me over there. Taking us together makes sense practically speaking but it felt a little cattle-esque. Given the layout though, I don’t know that this could be helped. My husband experienced some frustration picking me up because he wasn’t well informed about where I would be. All in all though, it was a very positive experience.

Absolutely horrific!!! This place is most definitely all about the money. It’s set up like an assembly line of patients awaiting their procedure. They have absolutely no bedside manners whatsoever! I was here for spinal injections which I have had twice before from a different doctor who doesn’t take my new insurance. Neither time did I feel a thing. The doctor that did my injections at the Surgery Center of Scottsdale was more concerned about time. He jammed that needle into my back, thrusted the plunger down(4 times). While I can hardly breathe because my breath was taken away and I was crying like a baby, he tells me that I need to remain still. Really!!! After the procedure, I’m dumped into a wheelchair and wheeled into recovery… backwards! Still in tears, no one offered me a tissue. I’ll be paying full price out of pocket back at my original doctors office next week.
