I visited Textures Gallery for SFW’s 2008 Wearable Artwalk and was amazed at the galleries passion for fashion and local designers.
The space was set up nicely and designers were actually in the gallery to talk about all of their designs. There was a woman there that designed a beautiful one piece shawl with actual constellations beaded on the piece. Years from now, she stated, anyone could tell exactly when she designed it based on the constellations.
There was also hat designer there, and much much more. It was really cool.
