Best hair cut period. This isn’t some beauty school dropout pretending to know mens hair. This is classic barbering. James will make you the best looking man you’ve ever been.

James is hilarious and provides the best cuts in Arizona I firmly believe. I recently moved to Phoenix from Boston, so going to a new barber is always challenging.
I found one barber north Phoenix and allowed him to chop my hair, needless to say, James did a swell job fixing it and continuing to improve and make it look perfect each and every time.

Atmosphere is very relaxed i called about 6 – 7 places to see if they do design work but the answer was always NO Im from out of town and just wanted something different. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Suggest making an appointment and confirming it tho.

This is the best place to get a cut. Great atmosphere awesome barbers. Super comfortable, best styles. They take their time to make sure you look super clean. You’ll probably find yourself hanging out in there without needing a haircut because this is place is so rad. I drive across town to come here because the drive is totally worth it! Old world feel. Stepping into the Dapper Devil for the first time made me feel like I was entering a time machine. Every detail of this fantastic little shop has been scrutinized and touched up to give it that old school, authentic barbershop feel. Luckily, this attention to detail is also displayed when James and Rob sit you down in the chair.
The cuts you get from The Dapper Devil are marvelous. Many guys don’t realize what a bad haircut is until they get a good one. I used to just go to the nearest Super Cuts every few weeks and get whatever was popular (don’t do that).
Just go to The Dapper Devil. You’re a Man, it’s about time you’re treated like one. Men go to Barbershops, boys get their haircuts from mom and her friends. What you get from these guys is more then a haircut, you get a camaraderie only seen with brothers, military and sports teams. These guys care. About you. About how you look. About their craft. About how you feel when you step outside… and the world notices.
You pay a couple bucks more, and the quality is staggering. Your first cut at the Dapper Devil will leave you wondering why you’ve tolerated such terrible haircuts your whole life, and you’ll never look back.

This place is rad. Awesome atmosphere with guitars on the wall and a wooden bar that looks like doc Holliday took shots on but you don’t go to the barber for just the atmosphere you go to get your haircut and this is where the five stars came from. I got a five month growth on my beard and Rob hooked me up. The haircut and beard trim was top notch and I left with the best haircut ever. I won’t go anywhere else. I highly suggest giving the Dapper Devil a try for your next haircut. You won’t be disappointed.

I met James at a rodeo about 6 months ago and I ended up coming in for a cut a month or so later. I was greeted with a PBR and a shot of bourbon, then given likely the best haircut of my life. I have been to a lot of barbers and stylists, been a hair model and had a mop top, but I won’t go anywhere else again unless I move away or die. My 5 year old son gets his hair cut here, too and he’s never been more proud of how he looks when he leaves the house!
The atmosphere is perfect, including classic barbershop styles, tattoo culture, vintage guitars and a stuffed peccary head on the wall. You’ll be transported back to a time when community and style mattered. Not your dad’s barbershop, but maybe reminiscent of your grandfather’s…if your grandfather was a punk rocker :) \m/

Called James on a referral from a friend and was not disappointed! I came in and was treated very well, even as a first time customer. I’m used to getting rushed in and out at other places but James took his time and went over everything he was doing and made me feel very comfortable.

Great barber shop with an old school feel to it. James is passionate about what he does and very knowledgeable when it comes to everything hair, products, shaving and styling for men. He makes his own shave soap and after shave too and supports the local brand hair product Shiner Gold pomade and clay. He has a very local clientele base so come check him out and never need to find another barber again. The Dapper Devil even offers hot straight razor shaves. Plus, cheap beer and good whiskey along with your cut.

The owner James always makes you feel like part of the crew. Great haircuts, getting my first straight razor shave. He is a beautiful son a gun.

This place is old school… there’s finally a REAL barber shop in town. From the vintage style to the dapper cuts, you can’t go wrong. The products they use are the best in men’s grooming. They also carry Shiner Gold which is the best pomade out there. Locally produced in PHX from all natural ingredients. These guys know their trade very well, and I genuinely look forward to my every other week fade. They are great with beards as well. Keep up the good work fellas!
