The House For Brides

I recently came here to get lash extensions with Alicia. It was my first time getting them and I was nervous because I have seen some lashes that don’t look very good. When I was done I couldn’t believe how good they looked. I have gotten so many compliments everywhere I go! People think they are my real lashes too! If you’re looking for someone who is amazing at lashes go to Alicia! Side note it’s been 2 weeks and they still look great!

Alicia Neal does the BEST eyelash extensions. She is reasonably priced and very thorough. She always keeps my brows looking good as well. I highly recommend Alicia!

David’s bridal was going to charge me $ 25 per pick up for my bustle and wanted to do 3 pickups (picture folding a cloth diaper) and they wanted to take it in on the sides (even tho it’s a corset back) and up 2 inches (even tho I was wearing 6 inch heels)… Altogether it was going to cost me around $ 200 – 250 at David’s Bridal to alter my wedding dress. I decided to call around to see if those prices were pretty standard, House of Brides was my first call and when she told me $ 10 per pick up for the bustle I rushed over before she could figure out her mistake in price :) Here I was thinking «wow, what would have cost me $ 75 for the bustle alone at DB was going to only cost me $ 30 at House of Brides!»…but then I went in and she was SO personal and one on one and really focused on ME and what I liked and didn’t like (ie the diaper bustle)…she showed me a way to do my bustle with only one pick up that gave it an allure of still having a train, just shorter, and it tied right into my corset! So $ 10 for a bustle! Then I ask her about taking it in and up and she says «why would you do that? It’s a corset… and you’re wearing heels…» So there went those needless alterations! She did up sell me a little bit… I went in with a bustier to wear with my dress and she told me she could add bra cups (with push up) and boning so I wouldn’t have to wear an uncomfortable bustier under my dress! I kid you not, I walked out of there paying $ 35 in alterations and my wedding dress fit me like a glove!!! She also makes gorgeous veils and garters, if I hadn’t already purchased mine I would have purchased from her in a heart beat!
