They quoted to rekey four locks at 67 dollars, but when the guy came out it came to 200 dollars. They’ll do the job, but they will tell you that your door nobs are advanced and double the price. For a house you should call your home warranty company, or insurance company if you get locked out of your car since they will do it for free.

We were burglarized when out of town. After contacing the police, the first thing we did was call a locksmith. Trust Locksmith arrived within 15 minutes, on a Sunday night and worked several hours changing all the locksets and deadbolts in the house. We needed immediate service and this was a condition for our purchase. He was compassionate & professional and quickly & quietly worked around the police investigators. Take the time to read the filtered reviews because the 1 star review is not the only one. It appears the error for that person was not being aware of what things cost. You can’t get lockout service for less than $ 100.

So, I locked myself out of my condo… awesome. Its also raining and cold and 7pm… and I’m tired. After unsuccessfully breaking into my rinky dink lock with my expired credit card, I called a locksmith. There happened to be a brand new yellow pages on my patio. so I called a few places and asked aboout prices. Most were $ 39 service plus labor which started at $ 15.depending on how long it took. I find one which is $ 25 service fee. plus labor. Great, I think… My HUGE mistake was I didn’t ask what the labor fee was. Welp… the guy gets there in 30 minutes… and within 2 minutes, wants me to sign the labor reciept because he realizes it will be a suppppper easy job.(very basic lock, not a deadbolt). So, $ 25 service fee… and $ 95 labor!!! I hesitated and asked why so ridiculous but I did it. I was cold and it was raining and thats that. It took the guy exactly 8 minutes. I called the company back and the guy gave me the run around and said his drivers set their own prices and he couldn’t tell me what it typically would cost. And he at first didn’t want to give me the name of the company!!! I’ll break my dang window next time… thanks!
