Ultimate Paddle Board

We got a Groupon for this and we were very excited. However when we got to the lake we couldn’t find anyone. My husband eventually got a phone call saying it was going to be rescheduled. Even though I called from the lake and left my cel number, I never got a call. I did get an email about rescheduling. It turns out they didn’t have permits to have a class at the lake. Despite almost 2 hours of driving for nothing, we still wanted to do the class. After several emails with Richelle Melde assuring me that we would be able to take the class even if my Groupon expired I was then told they are no longer going to offer the classes! Um. No thanks!

We got a groupon for UPB last year. It was a good time. However there was a little too much focus on the Ultimate part of it. We had never tried SUP before and were not very experienced. It is not super helpful to get barked at about your core every other moment when you are just trying to not fall into the water.
Nonetheless, I love SUP! The class gave me the basics and allowed me to enjoy my second time SUPing in Seattle on Puget Sound. That was way more fun, and we got to see Seattle from the water (thanks Stoke Harvester!).
If you are into a serious core workout, check these guys out! They also offer an entire Yoga class on the board, that is some fun! A lot of getting barked at though.
