Great breakfast — eggs, protein pancakes, skillets… Great service too! Will definitely be back!

Love going to US Egg for a yummy breakfast during the weekends. Be prepared as you will most likely have a wait of 15 to 20 minutes. There were 3 of us in our party and we waiting maybe 15 minutes and it was about 11am on a Sunday. We got seated inside and our server came over (she was great). I had the Eggs Benedict, my boyfriend had the ½ and ½ skillet and protein pancakes and our friend had the spinach and mushroom omelet. Everything came out perfectly and without a long wait for food. I have been to several other nearby breakfast spots and no one can seem to poach an egg propertly but not US Egg! They get it right every time!!!

Protein pancakes for the win. Nothing better after hiking Camelback.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a solid breakfast joint.

My favorite breakfast place when I come to Az. Their omelets are amazing and yesterday I had their protein blueberry pancakes so very yummy. My better half had the chicken fried steak he lived it. Also the bloody marys are bomb they have bacon and pickles. Service is 5 star! Best breakfast place around

This is one of my favorite places. They always make my food healthy just like I asked them to do. They’re inviting. Right when I walk in they everything they can to get me in right away. Their menu is nice and big and has a lot of options

The menu is too overwhelming and the food isn’t all that great. Comparable to a Denny’s or IHOP.

Love it. Great service, great food, great staff, I’ll eat here any time I get the chance. Whoever the manager/​owner is that normally is at the front is great!

So I guess they removed my last review. Not sure why. In my last review, I stated that we arrived just after 2:20 on a Sunday afternoon. The front desk girl told us they were not seating any body else because they close at 2:30. If you’re going post everywhere your open until 2:30 then continue to seat people until 2:30. My impression is that they lack service. We went to another place nearby just north of there that remained open until 3. Unlike US Egg, they were very nice and seemed happy when we walked through the door.
If you’re going to not seat people until 2:30, then you should post it on your website. Hopefully this doesn’t get taken down as well.
I felt strongly enough about this that I took the time to write a second review. Much better options around the area.

Breakfast was very good. They don’t take reservations, but we called ahead for our group of 8 and they set aside a table for us. Thanks guys!
I know it’s a chain, but it really didn’t feel like it. The service was great, food delicious, and price was spot on. It did have a BIT of an iHoppy feel to it with the carafe of coffee for the table, but I have only good things to say :)

Another great breakfast! The half and half with protein pancakes and a ham, sausage and mushroom Idaho skillet.

We’re from Chicago and THIS breakfast place is a must try. Absolutely recommend it. Fast, friendly and comfortable environment. Portion is huge. Everyone is very nice and prices so reasonable. Breakfast is not my favorite meal but THIS place makes me wish breakfast was every meal of the day :) nice huge menu might be back for lunch. Excellent. Id give it 10 stars. The meat skillet and the avocado chicken and bacon skillet outstanding. Thanks to Unilocal!Btw, Vanessa and Sarah are GEMS to this establishment.

The first time at this location. Came here after a charity walk that was close by. Service was good, but more than one person including me out of the party of seven said the food was bland.
I had the meat lover skillet which was a good portion but the hash was not cooked long enough to be crispy. The gravy with chicken fried steak had no taste other than salt.
Service was good enough to merit another chance here.

My new favorite breakfast spot. Hash browns were golden brown no burned spot. Bacon was crispy and delicious. I also had scrambled eggs with an English muffin. Never had a muffin so good. The service was amazing and food came out quick. At least 2 different servers came up to me and asked if I was good. The Manger came and refilled my water. Good spot to eat excited to bring the gf here next time.

Idaho skillet and protein pancakes!!! Amazing! Also the wait is quick even if there are a lot of people! The service is also fast and friendly. Everything was served hot and together.

Ordered an Iron Skillet– chicken, bacon, avocado and tomatoes served on hash browns. Cones with an English muffin and two eggs any style. VERY good and filling!

One of our all time favorite places to eat for breakfast!!! I have never been disappointed.

Stopped in on a recommendation of a friend/​family member. Nice building and nice ambiance. Good was in par with what we expected. Nothing special but we didn’t come for anything other than an what I guess you would call and American Breakfast. Eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and hash browns. Small drink cups which is fine if the server is on top of it. We liked it

Excellent place for breakfast! When you walk in the place is one big room. Booths separate the center of the room with tables all around. We were there for late breakfast so it was not crowded at all. Service was quick, attentive and courteous. I was most impressed with the fresh fruit. Most places cut fruit early so some dry out of get slimy. This fruit was none of those thing! It was on the cheap side even though we ate healthy. Great décor inside! Will def come back!

Nothing but wonderful, positive things to say about this business! We’ve been enjoying their delicious food for probably 25 years now and we’ve followed them all over the valley! You won’t be disappointed when you spend your time and money here. Excellent food! Fabulous service! Wonderful environment! We love U.S. Egg and the family that owns it. We’ve never had a bad experience and I can’t think of too many places that I can say that about.

Yummers! So many great breakfast choices, good portions, and decent prices. I like how you can customize their breakfast items to get exactly what you’re craving. Be sure to try their protein pancakes! I’ve always enjoyed excellent service too.

I’m still going back all of the time and I tried a couple of different things but have returned to and settled on my banana pancake and eggs breakfast — I get the Jr Triple Play which is half the size of the regular so I have them add one egg It works out perfectly and is cheaper. Two sausage, 2 eggs (after I add one) and a single pancake. Perfect.
ONE NOTE: they use fake butter so you have to request real butter if you don’t want to eat nasty chemical margarine. Unfortunately their margarine is pretty good, but note that it is still fake butter. That’s a bit of a disappointment in my second favorite place — but they stay busy so apparently most people do t notice or care.

Had breakfast here after staying across the street. Service is wonderful and staff is nice! I had an omelet that was decent but the filling should have been more sautéed. Overall the food and service is great!

First time at the restaurant. Servers were friendly. They seated us immediately. The food came out quickly. Portions were large and food was tasty

I went in for brunch this morning with my mom, and forgetting that every place would be slammed on a Saturday, we were having trouble finding a place that would not have a long wait. Fortunately, we went to this place last minute after calling ahead to ask for hold times to which I was replied with «no wait time».
We went in, and only had to wait for less than a minute for us to get a table in a full house. Our server, Ti, was EXCELLENT. She was very attentive, kind, and was super helpful when my mom accidentally spilled some ketchup on herself. We were very impressed with her service, that we gave her a handcrafted coap from our business that we run as a thank you.
I had the strawberry pancakes with over medium eggs and hashbrowns. She had the blueberry oatmeal with a side of eggs. It was so delicious, and It didn’t make me feel super full and bloated that starched pancakes normally would. It’s a huge benefit that they make whole wheat pancakes, with decent servings.
I like that they have the coffee pot and water pitcher readily available for you at the table. It takes pressure off the server and customer for when they want refills and how much of a serving they want.
The place was well lit, clean and the bathrooms were very clean too.
Overall, I had a great experience and would come back again!

Couple of my friends took me to this place saying it’s really good and it turned out to be true. Let me start with their coffee which is amazing, I didn’t expect that from a breakfast place. And I liked their protein pan cakes and «Bay Area French toast». If you’re in or around Scottsdale, you better try this place for breakfast or brunch.

We live this place based on their Protein Pancake. Not sure how good it is for you but it is good! The servers are super friendly. The only knock is the coffee. It’s terrible. I can only give it 3 stars. Please switch to Starbucks or another premium brand as I can’t drink it.

I don’t know about you but a great Friday night for me, normally eludes to a not-​so-​great Saturday morning, at least that was the case until I stumbled, more literally than I care to admit on Unilocal,into US Egg.
Ok so it might be a little chain-​y and menu’s aren’t crazy creative, but when it comes to great morning after stodge, you really can’t top this place. Typically American large portions of; scrambled egg, hash browns and a choice of bacon or sausage (little tip, ask for a combination) all for under $ 10 is an absolute steal!
Throw in unlimited (oh how I love the land of the free) coffee and a chocolate chip pancake to measure and you’re well on your way to rolling home a happy camper without denting your wallet!

Holy Pancakes!!! What a meal we had. We were in the area and decided we needed a BIG breakfast. I looked through the pictures on Unilocal and couldn’t decide what looked more satisfying. We get there around 1130, NO WAIT at all. Perfect for me because I was getting pretty «Hangry». Looking through this delicious menu I wanted everything, but this waitress wasn’t going to wait forever, as patient as she was. I’m down to try new things but I know what I like and the ITALY OMELETTE was calling my name. Mushrooms, sausage, mozzarella cheese, marinara and pepperoni on top. What omelette can beat that? Yeah I couldn’t think of one either haha. But why stop there? I’m a girl with a sweet tooth so I ordered powered sugar french toast off of the kids menu (pretty filling) and added bananas on top. A little extra charge but who cares when you’re hungry right? Just go bananas you’ll thank yourself later!!! I also had the pleasure of eating off of my boyfriends plate. He kept it simple & light and ordered a sirloin steak with broccoli. I rather indulge in the good, «yet not so good for you» food, but then again that’s just me! He splurged a little and got their famous protein pancake. Good for you carb and calorie counters. It was massive, filled with blueberries, granola, cinnamon and almonds. Simply delicious. Now that I have your mouth watering I think it’s time you come in and taste for yourself. Remember: Go Bananas!

Delicious food with great service. Anytime they drop a whole carafe of coffee on my table when I order a coffee, I know it’s going to be a good day! I ordered the pancakes which were whole wheat and delicious with a half order of a skillet that had chicken bacon and avocado and tomatoes. Delicious! I also ordered a boiled egg and it was great too!

It was very crowded for Father’s Day… but that is to be expected and is a positive showing for the business!
As busy as it was, I was seated within 20 minutes and the service was prompt…
I wanted to order eggs benedict but I have to confess that I used the photos and comments in Unilocal to show the waitress that some people complained that the eggs were overcooked… and I soooooooo wanted good-​soft-​and runny eggs in my benedict… she was right on top of it and it turned out PERFECT… Yummmmmmmm.
The juice was fresh squeezed O.J. And the coffee was very tasty, not like it was overdone or old…
I give them four stars because there is no readily available bike rack outside… and this was my 1^st time here on a holiday… so I need to wait until I come back and see if they are consistent.

Ok so the protein pancake was good but over all the execution of the food really fell short. The OJ was fresh squeezed but you could tell they used oranges that were turning bad, my over easy egg was cooked well past it’s time so the center was like a hard boiled egg and my husbands omelette was overdone and browned on the edges.
Edible, yes, but clearly kitchen staff is just churning out the food without much thought. I could even hear them yelling at each other for a bit while sitting at my table. Maybe just a bad day?

This U.S. Egg has been here awhile and I finally stopped in recently. Honestly, I’ve driven by it a zillion times (I live close by), and I don’t know why I’ve always ignored it.
The thing I like it about (besides the food, which I’ll get to) is that it’s a step above a Denny’s/IHOP, but not as hoity-​toity as the breakfast/​brunch spots in Old Town (which is funny because it’s located JUST south of all those places).
I went for breakfast on a Saturday, and I was surprised it wasn’t very crowded. I went w/​a friend & her aunt, and we all enjoyed our meals. I got an omelette, that came w/​hashbrowns & an English muffin. It was solid. I also had coffee, and I liked that they left a carafe at the table, because, well… I drink a lot of coffee.
Service, portions, & prices are all spot on.
Basically, this is just a «nicer» diner-​type breakfast place. And I mean that as a good thing.

This place has the best breakfast/​brunch by far! Closes at 2:30 so get there early because the place fills up quickly and there is a steady stream of folks waiting to partake in a great meal. Indoor and outdoor seating. Waitstaff can be more attentive, but the place is always super busy! I tried a skillet… ham, sausage, mushrooms, bacon, and tomatoes on a bed of hash rounds then covered with cheese! DELICI’! All the food and beverages came very promptly to the table.

U.S. Egg is a great place for breakfast and the protein cake is notable. The other dishes are good, too, but the protein cake can only be gotten at this restaurant (as far as I know). It is just delicious!
Another thing to know about U.S. Egg — there is often a line outside the door but do not let that dissuade you — it moves quickly and you won’t wait long. And of course, it’s worth it!
Plenty of parking, too.
