Walgreens

Very unprofessional when dealing with patients, really people in general, who are in need of the help from the pharmacy. Now I have been disappointed multiple times– reason why I have to mention it on the internet.

I’ve had it with this store! My doctor’s office has to fax them/​personally call them 2 – 3 times before they’ll refill my Rx. Every month I go through the hassle of calling Walgreen’s only to be told my Rx authorization has been denied by my doc, yet my doc tells them repeatedly to fill it. When I called today the pharm tech was extremely rude when I asked how we could work together to get my Rx filled. I get the runaround and am repeatedly told «there’s nothing I can do to help you.» Then there is always a line to pick up, whether it’s in store or at the drive through. The staff always seems overwhelmed and rushed and act like they can’t be bothered with questions. They only do the bare minimum and are not proactive in identifying and resolving issues. They also never seem to have my insurance info for one of my scripts and run it through at full price. This always leads to delays when picking up. Too much hassle and poor customer service. I’m taking my business back to Target.

Twice I have to had a prescription filled at this location. I call it in, they tell me it will be ready in one hour, I receive the automated call about a hour later stating it is ready for pick up. I leave work, go down there and they inform me they don’t have the medication at this location and it will be delivered tomorrow.
The only reason why I give them two stars is because the techs were very apologetic and attempted to find the medication at other locations for same day pick up.

Yesterday I picked up an RX for hubby (senior no RX insurances) it came to $ 156.00 for 10 pills, I went on RX app and target had same thing for $ 52.99. I called Walgreens told them the price difference «wow that is a big difference, we do not price match and there is nothing we can do, but sorry for that» We lost $ 100.00 and I guess it just luck of the draw. Count it up if that just happens 5 times a week at half of their stores. You can bet I will be checking prices!!!

Was in the pharmacy tonight and there was a problem with the prescription. The Pharmacist helped me to fix it and was so nice about it and it was close to closing time. Thank You tall blond haired male Pharmacist– you were great!

Nice wal-​greens, courteous staff. Has everything you’ll need. Five stars because the staff was so kind.

I never thought I would review a walgreens but I have to say, the person that helped me today actually made my day better. He greeted me at the door, asked me what I needed help with, helped me find it, pointed me in the location of a fabulous breakfast place and made sure I knew where I was going. A++++ customer service. My receipt says #6 534 next to the location in case that is his number– he was great!

Just make sure to keep track of any controlled prescription rx’s you have! Mine have mysteriously disappeared before. Multiple times. Saying that they were picked up when they were not (they happen to be very specific Rx’s that require background info etc and are very monitored). Additionally, they hardly ever have anything come in their orders when they are supposed to… Adding days to the wait. They constantly give me generic when I specifically request name brand and vice versa, which makes no sense. I only do request this in certain items, so that’s a but frustrating. There’s one or two nice people that work in the pharmacy, but the amount of issues I’ve had here, I won’t be returning.

Pretty standard Walgreen — no complaints, but nothing that will set this one apart from the other good Walgreens locations. The staff was friendly. I got a few cards a some mints for my desk at work and it was easy enough to find everything and it was all clean and organized in each aisle.
Overall: B+
I have nothing bad to say about this location — hit them up if you need something quick from a Walgreens!

The pharmacy has always been great to us! I have a son who has to take an array of medications and if ever there is an issue they always make sure he doesn’t run out. They go the extra mile to make phone calls and fax. It sometimes takes an extra day but who is to say that is the Dr or the Pharmacy. If he has run out they will give him an emergency supply which has been a lifesaver at times. This is one pharmacy I can’t live without.
Now a question… What is it with Walgreen’s I can’t leave the store without buying $ 50 worth of junk… I swear the kids come in and I leave with a bunch of stuff I don’t need. WEIRD???
