Walgreens

So several weeks ago I took a long plane trip with my wife, so we asked our doctor for a prescription to relax us a bit, because neither of us like to fly on long trips. We got the prescription for Xanax filled at this Walgreens. Within a very short time when we returned we started to get these mailing from various drug companies about their newest drugs for depression and how we need to ask our doctor about them. Not from one but from several companies. I will NEVER go to Walgreens again. I’ve gone to Costco for years and never have this occur. So be warned, your not just a Walgreens customer, but your a reoccuring source of revenue for them as they sell your name to drug companies. Pretty disgusting if you as me.

Just to let others know that Walgreens doesn’t match prices. Not that it matters, but you would think in this day and age of matching prices and drug stores on every corner the pricing would be close. If not they’d match. Not the case! I paid 18% more for the same product here than down the road a few blocks. The reason I paid it was it wasn’t worth going back. I was shocked they wouldn’t price match. Not the end of the world but I will limit my exposure to Walgreens and head to CVS.

A virtual life-​saver in the land of perpetual vacation, we found ourselves here almost daily while relaxing in AZ. It was right down the hill from our resort, it was air-​conditioned, it was empty, the peeps were friendly.
Bottled water was cheap here and in 97 degree weather you drink a lot of H20… or you should anyway. We loaded up on Aguafina, to the tune of about 3 huge bottles per day.
All that said, why am I really giving this Walgreens 4 stars? Well, it’s here that I discovered All Bran Rolled Fiber Wafers. Yes I said FIBER, and yes I am getting old.
But back to the topic. You know those Pirouette hazelnut chocolate filled wafer things that you can gorge on by the tens or twenties that you find at stores everywhere? Well, imagine the same thing in chocolate and strawberry but the outside is a flakey, crunchy, tasty fiber wafer. This shizz tastes good… I was shocked.
Fulfilling my sweet tooth AND giving me my daily boost of fiber (10g for 3 wafers) in the form of a quick afternoon snack… absolutely priceless. Oh and PS… I just found these in my local Walgreens as well. I’m going to start ordering in BULK.
