I am wholly impressed with this Walmart Vision Center! They use very modern equipment, provide excellent and thoughtful care and evaluation, and they are very reasonably priced. Highly recommended for the whole family! They open at 9am though, not 6am as listed here in Unilocal

Wal-Mart has exceeded my expectations today. Wal-Mart Vision Center that is. For decades, I would go to LensCrafters or private optometrists for eye exams. Lately, I wanted to make better choices in spending my money. So I got my first eye exam at Wal-Mart. This is one of the few locations I will go to. It’s usually clean. I made the eye exam during lunch hour and was done in 45 mins. Back at work within an hour. I think the exam was $ 50. Compared to over $ 100 at other places. Many people recommended Costco for prescription glasses. So I tried and I didn’t like the frames they had. I ended up returning the prescription sunglasses I had purchased. The one I liked, Costco would not put prescriptions on them. So I bought the frames anyway thinking I could have the prescription lenses put in somewhere else. I have always purchased prescription glasses and sunglasses at LenCrafters because they would have a good selection of name brand frames and would only take 1 hour to get them done, like the commercials. Of course, I usually walk out spending over $ 400. I took a chance at Wal-Mart. I wasn’t sure if they were able to do it but figured I’ll ask. I was afraid something would go wrong. One of the girls said it would take 7 days to process. Wal-Mart called me 3 days later and said my glasses were ready. That was fast! The lenses at Wal-Mart were about $ 13 more than Costco, but Costco took 7 days and they wouldn’t even do the glasses I wanted. I’m happy. Oh, and then they gave me a free cleaning cloth which is lint-free. It’s the best cleaning cloth ever, and doesn’t leave streaks. Even Prada doesn’t have quality cleaning cloths. My total cost, under $ 200. Mission accomplished.
