World of Rugs

I’d been in World of Rugs a few times, and I always though they had some beautiful, but expensive things. Then, after a layoff when I needed a quick pay the bills job — they hired me. It was then that I grew to have a respect for them for the first time really because of how important training is to them. They don’t just want you to sell a rug that matches your sofa or drapes, they want their sales folks to know how it’s made, what country it’s from, perhaps the socio-​economic factors driving rug making in the area, and they want you to love rugs as much as they do. They sure sold it to me. I can’t even look at Home Depot or Target rugs the same way. But it’s that passion about what they do that makes it such an amazing experience as a customer. They want to help you find the perfect thing. You want that $ 25K Hand knotted silk and wool room sized rug that it took an entire family 3 years to make? They’ve got it.
