I’ve been blown away by the amazing customer service at Zebre. My visits here have been some of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever received.
On this particular occasion, I had woken up with my eye red and swollen. I tried to get through the day, but I was in too much pain. I remembered this place was close by, so I called. Even though it was at the end of the day (almost 5:00), Dr. Gangji saw me, meticulously examined me, and stayed over an hour late to treat me and make sure I was ok. They could have easily told me they were booked, or it was too late in the day, or to come back tomorrow, but they went above and beyond to take care of a patient.

Such a cute boutique with a great variety of high end glasses especially Tom Ford, but at the same time has a wide selection of great frames at a low price! Perfect for every budget! Doctor Gangji is outstanding and you can tell he really cares about all of his patients and remembers them all by name. It’s really nice to find an eye doctor that is so genuine, professional, and thorough!

The doctor has since called and emailed me and asked if there is anything that he can do (I can’t imagine there is so I rudely didn’t respond) and while it is not likely I would ever go back I really appreciate his efforts. Receptionists come and go but this is the doctors practice so the stars are back up…

Great hip/​trendy boutique — all around truly deserves 5 stars.
Dr. G is reliable & constant in his professionalism.
Admittedly I don’t practice the best eye habits (removing contacts before bed) — dr. G delivers the news/​consequences of my willful choices in such a way that I don’t feel ashamed or admonished but I try to do better & be a more responsible contact wearer.
The services here are top notch as is presentation and competitively priced.
My visits to dr. G — his eye boutique — he’s always running his shop with courtesy efficiency & with punctuality.
I’ve only interacted with Debra & Dr. G– Debra manages & sets up appts — she was efficient in ordering my contacts & collecting for my eye exam.
I have been to other eye doctors and while there was nothing wrong at other establishments ZEBRA OPTIQUE will continue to get my business & referrals because I feel valued and I know there is not a better eye ball custodian in Scottsdale than Dr. G.

I went in for my appointment with Dr. Hussein Gangji for the first. His staff has been very helpful for the last couple of days with insurance, payments and even the right frames for my face. Debbie, was so helpful and sweet. She is very knowledgeable and you can really see that she cares. Dr. Gangji was very nice and helped me with my process. It’s been 4 years since my last eye exam and I’m usually really scared to get my eyes checked. He explained what he was doing and how much longer I had to wait before I could relax. He was gentle and very patient with me. I had such a great experience at his office and will refer anyone I know. I’ll definitely be going back to see him and his wonderful staff.

Been using glasses/​contacts for over 15 years and have never found a good Optometrist. Always struggled to find the «perfect pair» and «great service.» Dr Gangji and his staff are by far the best there is in the business! Very knowledgable, attentive, with the best service there is, and kid friendly. My 3 kids have also been seen by Dr Gangji and absolutely adore him! My family has been visiting Dr Gangji’s office for the last 4 years and completely love his new boutique! From the selection in frames, high end merchandise, and hours of operation, to the location and great décor. Would recommend him to anyone who is looking for simply the best!

I’ve been to Zebre twice now and have been very impressed with Dr. Gangji and his staff — and the incredible selection of high-​end glasses and sunnies. The location is great (right at the Waterfront), and I love the convenience of being able to get my eye exam done, and stop for new glasses, all in one place. Dr. Gangji is incredibly knowledgeable and down to earth. You can tell he really cares about his patients. I went to see him after contracting a gross eye infection the day before. My eye was feeling better in a matter of a MINUTES. Highly recommend this place!

I was hesitant at first because I am very picky about my eyewear and didn’t want to settle for just any old frames since I’m damn near blind without my glasses and needed something durable and chic. Got referred here by a coworker and I thought I’d take a look, it couldn’t hurt right? I was absolutely blown away from start to finish! Very friendly and helpful staff, huge selection of designer glasses and sun glasses and I found just what I wanted and this place is in my VSP network! The Dr was great and super knowledgeable, and the professionalism was second to none. I can’t wait to pick up my new Tom Ford glasses! Definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking for high end designer glasses and courteous staff, you won’t be disappointed!

This place is awesome! I stopped by initially to look at their selection and ended up buying two pairs of glasses. The doctor is very knowledgeable and their selection of frames is better than the previous places I’ve been to.

I am back at my desk at work writing this review after leaving this place, that’s how irritated I am. The hours say they’re open at 11am, so since i work less than 2 minutes away, i decide to use my 30minute lunch to go over and look for some new frames. This place is covered by my insurance and I get an allotment to use towards frames. Having champaigne taste (my present frames cost more than my mortgage payment), I figured $ 150 off a nice pair of frames and paying the difference would be a nice change of pace to my pocketbook when it came to glasses.
I head over a little after 11:30 and find the shop is locked, with the Be Right Back sign (brb @ 12) posted in the window. The place hadnt even been open 1 hour, and whomever was manning it had to leave/​take a break/​whatever?! So I wander around and check out a few shops next door.
I head back a little after 12noon. Yup still locked. So I have a seat next door and wait. Almost 10 minutes after noon, and see this lady casually strolling down the street with what looked like a shopping bag in tote. She makes eye contact with me, and she proceeds to unlock the door. I walk in after her. No sorry to keep you waiting. Nothing. Simply with an attitude, «Can I help you?»
Me — Yes, I’m looking to replace my frames.
Her — Do you have insurance?
Me — (not that that matters) Yes, I do.
Her — Here’s everything that your VSP will cover — points to the table.
She hands me 3 pairs of frames, which totally looked like shit on, and that was it. She then jumped on the phone to try to verify someone’s insurance.
Seeing she’d rather be on the phone verifying coverage than help a customer, along with the lackluster inventory, I walked out. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I’ll take my money back to my regular eyeglass shop in Phoenix, which isn’t covered by my VSP.

Buying glasses is always a challenge for me. I’m incredibly picky about what is to be a semi-​permanent fixture on my face. Zebre has an amazing selection of high end designer brands that are difficult to find in other boutique eyeglass shops. Their line of Alexander Wang for Balenciaga is stunning. Great service and they take VSP!

I bought a gorgeous pair of Tom Ford sunglasses after browsing at Nordstroms and Barneys without any luck. They only had a pair in white, so the sales manager special ordered the brown/​gold combo which she recommended for me. I LOVED them! have gotten so many compliments on my new sunnies. They have unique styles, will definitely return!

I love Tom Ford glasses and they have racks and racks full of them. I was in heaven. The sales girl told me they do eye exams and contacts so I will be going in there next year to get my eyes checked. I love– love this boutique!

I walked in this store on my way to lunch and was blown away by the experience… They knew everything about the newest trends and had the most in demand styles. Walked out with a rare find Tom Ford and Gucci’s … Will buy here again.
