Christine’s Bistro

I worked at the viewmont mall from November to the end of April. Christine’s was always my first choice for lunch. I’ve also visited the steamtown mall location back in my mall rat days.
Salads made as you order, Cheese steaks (both chicken and beef), cheeseburgers, wraps, gyros, turkey sandwiches, quesedillas, and soup. All are delicious and fresh
The steamtown location offers smoothies made with fresh fruit, but does not offer some of the other menu items they have at viewmont.
The main reason it is 4 stars and not 5 has to do with how some of the workers prepare a cheese steak. The manager is magnificent! The other workers however seem to think it is okay to cook ice berg lettuce with the steak. I even stated once that I would like the lettuce not cooked, but there was a language barrier with the worker and she just smiled and said okay as she dropped lettuce into a pile of cooking beef. For this reason I always order without lettuce… cooked lettuce is just not appetizing.
The cheese steak is my favorite, followed by the gyro. They also have really good french fries.

This was a surprising treat for a place at the food court in the Viewmont mall. They had turkey adn chicken wraps, as well as an assortment of sides that were reasonable and delicious.
