Guy’s Barber Shop

Just moved up to Scranton a week ago and went to Guy’s this morning based on the previous two reviews. Damian was great — very nice and gave me the cut I wanted. Great small business. Couple things of note:
— They are closed on Sunday and Monday
— If you are a student — cuts are $ 10 on Tuesdays
— He does take credit cards
— The street parking around the shop is metered, so bring a few quarters (1 quarter = 15min. when I went this morning).

Excellent. Great cut. Nice guy and very professional. Dollar for dollar it is the best cut you are going to get!

Guy is always here and ready to give a great haircut! We live in D.C. and come to Scranton for business. My husband actually waits to get a haircut HERE rather than in D.C. That’s how welcoming this place is.

First barber shop I’ve been to that stayed true to the essence of what a barber shop should be like.
Got a great cut by the main man and owner, Damian. He used an old school Oster hair clipper and took his time making sure it was to my liking. Paid close attention to detail. Overall, a kind and experienced barber.
The most impressive part of it all is that Damian goes through the trouble of straight razor shaving at customers request. He doesn’t advertise it, but will happily do it. Does the whole hot towel thing and uses the straight razor properly.. Gave me a really enjoyable shave and took his time while doing so. I’ve been to other barbershops and I’ve really gotten to appreciate what Damian does. Most barbershops don’t do it anymore and especially at such a good price.
Would definitely recommend trying out Guy’s. Got a great haircut and shave for $ 30. Usually that’s what just a shave costs. Damian is doing things the old fashioned way and its working. Good guy and barber
