I made an appointment, arrived 5 minutes early; receptionist acknowledged my appointment; 30 minutes later– I was told that the cosmologist I was scheduled with«doesn’t cut» hair! They wanted me to come back or reschedule my appointment. Not gonna happen.

I can’t even believe the comments below! I’ve been to Jaida Spa on several accounts, and had the best mani/pedi experience with my girl, Jamie! Not to mention the shellac attack Tuesday deal! Everyone is so willing to make you feel relaxed the second you walk through the door! Will obviously continue to go back!

I was at Jaida Spa a few months ago for a friend’s wedding day. We all got our hair done and my experience wasn’t very pleasant. The hairdresser seemed to put my hair up in a high pony and claimed she was done. Then I was charged about $ 60 for an updo… I thought I would give Jaida another try the other day. I went in for a pedicure. The water was cold and my toes still looked dirty and untouched when the girl was finished. It was nothing to write home about. It lasted about 40 minutes and there was nothing special about it. On my receipt, it said I received a seasonal marshmallow pedicure and it was $ 40!!! I didn’t even receive a leg rubdown with my pedi… the staff was also very unorganized and it took forever to pay and just leave. The girls kept answering the phones and chatting with other customers. Not very professional… I will never go back.

My sisters and all(all working professionals and mothers) were looking for a relaxing spa day so we decided to try out this spa the day after xmas, to unwind after working hard all year and from the hustle bustle of the holidays. My sister’s facial ended up being approx. 40 minutes, although we were told over the phone when we booked that facials were 75 minutes. She had asked during the service for the upgraded facial and was told it could not be done because the upgraded facial was only for 50 year olds and older. Nonetheless, when she checked out they were trying to charge her the upgraded price. The manager stated that the time for the facial was 75 minutes«give or take» and that the amount of time was designated for purposes of «blocking it off in their computer system». She further stated that«changing over the beds and use of spa facilities» was included in that time period. I have been to many spas and, typically, when a service is advertised for a certain period of time, the customer is paying for their service for the full amount of time advertised(with the additional use of spa facilities as part of the overall spa experience). My other sister received a pedicure accompanied by the noise of the vaccum which was being run in the same room while she was receiving her service. The staff overall seemed to want to close up shop and were in a rush to leave. Upon checkout, my sister’s debit card was charged for both services(without her permission) and neither the manager nor receptionist could easliy figure out how to refund the card(of which my sister had to wait several days for the refund). We left the spa feeling stressed out. The experience was less than pleasant and unprofessional.

Jaida Spa is absolutely wonderful! I have gone there many times for a massage, used their steam room and sauna and had a hair cut and color. Every service I have used has been top of the line and professional. Their staff is very friendly and they don’t rush you out the door. They will always offer you a beverage and make sure you are complete comfortable. The point of having a spa day or even just an hour for some pampering is to relieve stress and leave feeling refreshed and renewed, and Jaida Spa does just that! Definitely one of the best spas in the area and I highly recommend them!
