I’m not sure if this is the correct location, but potential customers beware! My husband and I were traveling and happened upon the Steamtown Mall food court before visiting the Steamtown National Historic Site(trains & trolleys). Worst food decision we made of our entire trip. We should have known the minute we walked into the mall and more than half the mall was closed down. Only two restaurants were available(Roman Delight or Subway), with another 6 or 7 spots available, but completely abandoned. We sat there, slightly depressed, knowing how popular this place probably was back in the day. We chose this over Subway because Subway is available back home… Roman Delight isn’t and if this was any indicator, I’m happy I’ll never cross its path again. Now to the actual review(Sorry… I get long-winded). The food had been cooked well before we arrived(including the pasta that looked so rubbery a dog wouldn’t even eat it). To be fair, I know it’s good to be prepared for a lunch rush. However, like I said, this place was D-E-A-D DEAD. They had about 8 – 10 different pizzas &2 pans of pasta in their heat lamps. Once you ordered, they would get your piece of pizza & put it back in their oven. I get that, in some cases, this is necessary. But it made it not-so-tasty. Just avoid it. Again, I apologize if this if for the wrong location, but it’s the only one that popped up and SOMEONE needs to be aware of the situation at the Steamtown Mall food court.
