Probably a better place to buy a ham than a sandwich. Pretty sterile. Sandwich Ok. It has a fast food décor with semi fast service. Does NOT have a local feel.

Back in my meat eating days, this place was was an awesome alternative to eating lunch where I worked (a nearby restaurant). The lunch special included a sandwich side of deli salad and a cookie. The large lunch was enough to share but due to my HOG like co-​workers, it never was. In SWINEsight I could have just brought back one of the awesome platters they make. The owner Kevin is pretty nice and I have much respect for those working owners out there. You always see him behind the counter and he wont hesitate to prep your lunch himself. Honey Baked Ham is located in a small shopping center that is dismal and BOARing. A facelift on the center might highlight some of the awesome stores here that otherwise seem to fade into the hillside.

Great sandwiches. They are only open till 5:30. I think this is a great alternative to 5 guys right across the street, when you are in the mood for something a little more healthy than an indulgence burger.

Formerly «Heavenly Ham», these guys make a mean sandwich and this has probably become my favorite lunch place in the Scranton area. Great also for holiday orders. Their non-​ham meat is really good and if I were to name the store it would be «good meat». They have incredible turkey and for those of us used to standard «deli» turkey on a sandwich, you would be shocked by what a real turkey sandwich can taste like. They also have a great deal on a boxed lunch. It comes with a sandwich, small side order, cookie and soda for about 8 bucks. I can’t believe people would spend $ 5 – 7 on a fast food combo meal when this is an option. The owner Kevin is a really nice guy, usually working behind the counter and will walk you through your dining options a lot better than your typical employee. I would highly recommend this restaurant for your lunchtime cravings.
