Zaleski’s has my favorite wings in Scranton thus far. I’ve been trying to go to the restaurant for months but each time we tried, it was closed — definitely check the hours or call before you go. We went to this place on a Saturday night. It was pretty busy. We were hungry and wanted to try a variety of dishes. We ordered regular fries, volcano fries, several orders of wings(including honey mustard, BBQ, classic hot, and the Caesar garlic), and a cheesesteak. The volcano fries were da bomb dot com. They were spicy and crunchy and gooey all at the same time. The regular fries were also good — crunchy without being too thin. The wings themselves are crispy and amazing. The Caesar garlic sauce was our favorite but the classic hot were good too. The BBQ and the honey mustard were just alright — the sauces were a little overpowering for the wings. The cheesesteak was good too. We asked for it without onions and they accidentally included them; our server noticed before she even brought them out and took it off of our bill, which was very sweet — she gave us the option to have it remade, too. I had a great time at Zaleski’s and I thought their wings were fantastic and the service was nice and attentive. I would definitely go back.

Fantastic wings, sweet style hot. Entire menu is great, had just about everything. Super long wait for food is worth it.

Came here based off Unilocal reviews at 7pm on a friday. Waited a few minutes for a table. Service was great 1.50 miller pints on fridays …got the devil waffle fries and hot, honey garlic and bbq wings(waitress told us people say their sauces are on the sweeter side so we went with hot cause we like heaaaat)…wing quality was great but the sauces were PHENOMENAL especially the hot and honey garlic. We also got a side of the habanero sauce to dip and it was sooo good. Great experience new fav wings and im from NJ

The wings here are unique and I assume the best in Scranton. They are crispy and the sauce(honey mustard flavored) is on point. I compare these wings to Kildare’s as well as to other restaurants in other states. Highly recommended!

Hot Caesar Garlic Wings and Cheddar Cheese pizza from Zaleskis is pretty much our family’s go to Friday dinner and we are never disappointed. Great wings. Also the bar has the most comfortable, awesome bar stools I’ve ever had the pleasure of sitting in. Just another good reason to spend time in Southside.

If you follow me on Unilocal you know that I LOVE me some dive bars. So what did this girl do the second she got to Scranton? Unilocal for the closest dive bar of course! This spot did not disappoint! I was with a big group of friends doing a quick pocono ski trip and man oh man did we enjoy the delicious amounts of fried food served up here. The cheese toast was probably one of the most delicious single pieces of bar food I’ve ever had. It is dangerous people!(I felt like I was cheating on my PJ Ryan’s cajun fries obsession!) The Blue Moon pitchers totally hit the spot too!

Their wings are just OK. Nothing mind blowing. They don’t have a true hot wing sauce flavor — they just tasted like cayenne pepper with a little bit of sweetness. Maybe it’s because I got hot flavored? I wouldn’t get habanero sauce unless you want to catch your toilet paper on fire. Again no flavor, just hot. They only take cash, so it was only natural for the waitress behind the bar to look at me like I was crazy for even trying to use a card. Their pizza is OK too.

I have to give them two stars because their service is just down right horrible. The don’t except credit card and don’t tell you anywhere that they don’t until you go and pay. So you have to use their ATM at the bar 2.75 charge plus my bank charges me 3.00 bucks. Kind of a crappy move on their part. So bring cash. Not to mention I work for the IRS. The food is tasty and reasonable.

Absolutely the best wings in the immediate Scranton area, without a doubt. They aren’t like the usual soft, greasey wings that most places have. I always get them«hot» and the sauce/seasoning is peppery. I don’t think I’ve ever had a «small» wing there, even on wing night. Always loaded with meat. As mentioned, they do not accept credit cards and you will have to wait on wing night(Wednesday). Also, you can get them as takeout without a noticeable decline in quality. I’ve never had any of the other menu items, because there’s no reason to. For the quality and price, I don’t know why anyone in Scranton would go anywhere else for wings.

They deserve five stars. The Zaleski family is hitting some key points when running a business. Most importantly, the feeling of love you get from Mrs. Zaleski and her wait staff. Always so welcoming and kind. The wings are the best I’ve ever had. I typically try wings in every city I visit during work related travel. Till this day I haven’t found wings that beat their flavor. During college I would go to Zaleskis each Wedneday night for Wing Night. We never got tired of it! Keep up the good work!

I went here specifically for the wings. Were they«the best» I’ve had? No. But, they were very tasty. I got the mild and a side of fries. Yea, I know… real healthy. The wings were really crispy. That’s a good thing for me. Wish they were a bit meatier though. They had a slight sweetness too. I would definitely get them again. The fries were good also. I sat in the bar area at opening time. Bartender was friendly. There was definitely a «usual» crowd there. Reminded me of Cheers. The décor in the bar was very 80’s ish. I looked over into the restaurant side briefly, and it was nicer. As far as it being labeled as «dressy» attire… I find that hard to believe. Overall, I will certainly stop back in and try more of the menu(and more wings) if I get back to Scranton.

It’s a dive bar, don’t think it’s a nice bar. It’s not bad to go and drink at with some friends, but definitely wouldn’t recommend it to go meet people. I’ve only eaten here twice. I had their quesadilla which is terrible and their wings which are pretty good. My one friend loves their chairs at the bar too. They aren’t just stools, they are white chairs with full backs to them.

Zaleski’s is a great family owned and operated Sports bar. Known for their hot wings it was a place I had to try. The décor is filled with cool vintage baseball memorabilia and the wings were fantastic. Great service as well. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.

Best wings in Scranton. So crispy with just enough sauce so it’s not bathing in it. If you go on Wed for wing night, you’re gonna have to wait a bit for a table but def worth the wait. Everyone that works there is super nice and the atmosphere is great. Bring cash though

Best wings I have ever had. I always get mine«hot» but also tried the Caesar Garlic wings today and they were also amazing. I also love the boneless wings and the hot wing hoagie. Nice atmosphere inside, friendly staff, and the owner is very friendly as well.
