Love this little hole in the wall bar & grill! Waitress was adorable & friendly, food delicious & the wood burning stove made it so comfy! Jukebox played the GOOD(aka old school) country music Was the perfect place for a little afternoon drive with the family! 5stars Don’t forget to bring a buck$ and a marker so you can leave a little momento behind

Well, it’s nice to have a little Saloon out in Seabeck, kinda in the middle of nowhere but definitely off the beaten path. Ice Cold Beer, Burgers & Nachos & stuff, jukebox, 2 TVs, Wood Stove, really kind of cool rustic /John Wayne Western feel to it. My only problem is no one seems to know the WIFI password, this being my second or third stop and still nobody bothered to inform the Bartender or write it down somewhere(Although her Tablet seemed to work like a charm), I’m just saying, for an area where there is rarely a cell phone signal, being able to connect to WIFI would be nice so somebody could get ahold of Ya if needed.(Or to check Fantasy Football items, other scores, news, Etc., etc.) In this day and age it’s always a bonus to able to access the Internet, It is the 21st century… Com’n Folks, you’ve got the WIFI, write down the password somewhere !!

Big place. Has been around for years but owner is fairly new. It’s a saloon for locals but anybody is welcome. We were there with another couple who live in the area and have been to the saloon many times before. There were a few people in the place seated inside and at tables outside. The place is overall clean but some things could be cleaner, like the ceiling fan blades that were overhead near our table. I understand that the one lady who was waiting on tables is the mother of the owner. I loved her British accent. We ordered the Lumberjack and the Bacon Cheeseburgers and both were excellent. The burger patties were house made, the bacon delicious, and the buns nicely toasted. The Lumberjack is the bacon cheeseburger with sauteed onions and mushrooms which really added to the flavor big time. Fries were also house made and a little more limp and oily than I like them but they still had great flavor. The only problem was with the service: we had a wait time of at least five minutes before the one waitress came to our table to take our order. Apparently there’s only one cook in the kitchen because our order of four burgers and fries took about 20 minutes to be delivered to our table. Actually, longer for mine because the cook didn’t cook my order since he misread the ticket. Still, the waitress came to my table to explain what had happened and that I’d get my order in two minutes. About two minutes later the cook delivered my burger and fries with an apology. Let me tell you, that burger was worth waiting for. It’s among the better burgers I’ve had anywhere and easily beat the franchise takeouts. Prices are not out-of-line and definitely worth if for the amount of food you get. We’ll be back again when we visit with those same friends.

Nice cold beer but 30 minutes to get our food during which our waitress was missing in action hanging with the regulars at the bar.

This is a wonderful little stop, out in the middle of nowhere! We waited patiently for this to come along and our patience paid off a few years ago! I may be a little prejudice in my review since I know the owner very well and have been coming here since it opened, but let me justify my rating for you! The service is always fast and friendly, friendly being the key word. Whether it’s a new server or one of them that’s been there for a couple years, they smile, laugh, tell jokes and generally participate in our fun night out. They watch our glasses and are there as soon as we need them to take additional orders or remove empty glasses. Unless of course they’re slammed with standing room only, then you pretty much have to order at the bar since they can’t get out from behind it! The food is par-for-the-course bar food. We’ve tried nearly everything on the menu and have been generally happy with everything. What keeps us going back for more is the Lumberjack Burger — messy, hand forged, drippy goodness when you’re really craving a burger! The french fries are perfect greasy potato morsels that are fresh, complete with skin on the ends and sides! They have a special every night and it’s usually something down home like Meatloaf or Prime Rib, maybe even Enchiladas. Don’t expect gourmet and you won’t be disappointed! I think you would classify this as a dive bar, with more locals than visitors. However, locals welcome visitors and envelope them into the camouflage redneck environment and soon, everybody hash a Busch beer in their hand and laughing together! The wood burning stove in the center of the bar adds great warmth and a place to dry off when the rain pours down. With the full bar and loaded jukebox your evening can be as fun as you’d like! Don’t expect fancy martinis and never heard of drinks, they keep it simple here for simple enjoyment. Stop by for some nachos and a beer, see what you think!

I’m so excited to see that the cookhouse has returned to being a bar. I hear it was once upon a time, but not in my day. If you ever go out to Seabeck you know what a blessing this is, especially if you live out here as all other bars are very far by car. I imagine it gets pretty crowded on the weekends, but thankfully it has a large parking lot. Lots of beers on tap, lots of beers in the fridge, full bar. Large outside area with a wood bench with carved horses on it. A pool table. I imagine I will be spending a fair amount of time here in the future. Glad I finally made it out to see it, it was much nicer than I expected. Next time I will try the food. My only complaint is my cell phone doesnt work here, but it rarely does in this area, might be a time when it would be nice to have a payphone.
