Boston Data Systems

I have been going to Boston Data Systems since 2009 when I moved back from Florida. It is now 2015 and I will go no where else.
Pat fixed my computer in 2009. My mothers laptop in 2010. And several family members computers with no complaints.
I decided to replace my old desktop. I thought nothing of driving from Peabody, MA to Seabrook, NH to purchase a refurbished computer from Pat. That is how much I trust him over the big guys like Best Buy and Staple.
Now a week after purchase an operational issue came up. I called Pat and he asked to bring the computer back, so he could take a look. I saw him the next day. He took care of it efficiently and took time to teach me how to keep my systems security safe and update only the important files.
Malware and spyware are installed. BUT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO INSTALL A ANTI-​VIRUS SOFTWARE PROGRAM. So when you pick up your new system, take the time to learn from Pat how to operate and maintain your system. Don’t assume you know everything, because when the shit hits the fan and you screw up your system. It is easier to blame someone. ISN’T NOW.
Oh, Boston Data Systems is cluttered not dirty. He refurbishes computer that is why all the parts.
This is why he can keep is prices reasonable. Or you can go to the big and beautiful places like Best Buy and Staples to pay big bucks for the computers, asked if you want to purchase high priced protection plans. Oh and no additional software. And if you did not get that bad ass protection plan you have to pay big bucks to fix your broken computer while dealing with a different person every time.
So the choice is yours believe the positive or the negative. But I think a lot of people are missing out on a good thing because of a couple of people who believe they have been treated poorly.

Since I discovered Boston Data Systems I won’t go anywhere else for my computer fixes and purchases. I’ve had them fix my old one, bought a used laptop and a new tablet and they’ve stood behind the products.
I’ve sent friends there and always got positive feedback
Big box stores don’t care about you, these people do.

This place is terrible. Not sure how it has stayed open for so many years but it just seems like they «bandaid» fix your pc and hope you dont come back… not me! But in the end it cost an arm & leg to get the same outcome i should have recieved with the 1^st visit. Dont go… plus the place needs a good clean, old pieces of outdated pc crap everywhere!!!

The owner is unethical. Computer we bought from him did not work properly after two days. He would not give us a full refund insisting that we put viruses on the computer. This, after telling us that he installs security software so we should not have a problem. He is a con artist who does not follow through on his word. Stay away!,
