This is a small, community pool and playground area. The area is for neighborhood residents only, the pool inside a gate with an adjacent playground outside the fence. Inside are some good size picnic tables under a pavilion, lots of grassy area for kids to play, lots of pool furniture to go with the medium-to-small pool. The pool goes from 3 feet to about 5 feet deep, no diving board or anything else. Great for kids to splash around and great to cool off on the summer days, but not much more than that. The hours are 7a — 10p during summer, there are restroom facilities inside the pavilion plus a couple of rudimentary grills for cooking. The community association will let you reserve the entire pool grounds in 2 hours blocks with advanced notice(some restrictions apply). Great for private kids parties, etc. The playground is in a small area but has well kept equipment for kids to play on. There’s half a dozen or so parking spots right there on the street(NOOVERNIGHTPARKING). You have to have a key issued from the POA to get in the pool grounds, guests are allowed in reasonable guest-to-resident ratios. Among the rules are that kids under 18(I think) must have an adult present. The grounds and pool are always well kept and clean. It more than fits the needs of the community, just not whiz-bang enough for a higher rating!
