This is a wonderful place! Everything I have tasted is delicious! There pimiento cheese is out of this world. There hamburgers are cooked perfectly with a juicy interior & a well seasoned & crusty exterior. The only downfalls are they don’t serve fries, but instead chips & they could really use some A/​C in the dining area, as the packed crowds & hot food, don’t compliment each other well! My child’s grilled cheese sandwich though was even above wonderful!

If you pass this one by it’s your loss. Extraordinary handmade preserves, sauces, pickled items. My favorites: red tomato chow chow, creole sauce, raspberry pepper preserves, and pickled green tomatoes.
The burgers are freshly made and simply delicious. Many other breakfast and lunch favorites to be had. Do yourself a favor and stop in.

You’d think that a restaurant that was so proud of its produce would have AT LEAST ONE vegetarian option. You’d be wrong. Of course, you can request something, which I did: «some of your great produce, steamed please.» «Sure,» I was told — and then 45 minutes later (and the place was not busy), we were presented with vegetables, boiled in oil. Unhealthy food Hilton Head has aplenty. If only someone had an idea for something different.

Lowcountry Produce has transitioned to focus more on their little restaurant than selling fresh produce. I recently stopped by here to pick up some fresh produce, but all I could find were pumpkins. Huge lovely pumpkins, but no produce to eat. They do sell lots of their own jarred items, breads, cakes, pies, pimento cheese, chicken salad.
Come here to sit on the porch and eat. Egg salad sandwich is yummy. Breakfast is good and hearty too.

Love this place!
Excellent pimento cheese sandwich– I like mine with jalapenos! Very good chicken salad (salad and sandwich), awesome burgers, the sweetest sweet tea!
I also love shopping in their little country store for homemade jellies, pickled items, breads and produce. It is Lowcountry Produce!
