Must like smoke! Stayed one beer and inhaled enough second hand smoke to cause an addiction.

I went there for the first time in a long time the other night. I actually really enjoyed myself. The staff was great and friendly as usual., and there was none of the usual fighting and gross behavior. Seems like they’ve cleaned up the place. I’ll go back again soon.

I love this place! Great you can smoke inside. They also have a great juke box that has all my fav music. Also some pool tables and good beer! Service is great and my local watering hole.

Bad bad bad bad service Waited 20 minutes sitting at the bar no service. if they don’t know you or you’re new to the area they treat you like you’re nobody and ignore you’re even there.
The female bar tender that works there is not cool at all in my book if she knows you or one of her friends she will serve
I sat there 20 minutes made eye contact with her and nodded to her she walked away the music is loud so you won’t be heard if you holler out shouldn’t have to yell out to the bartender just to be served
Some of her friends. Walked in came to area where I was sitting and she walked up and asked them what they wanted to drink ??? What is up with that ???
They had just walked in the door. Then after serving them I looked at her again she didn’t bother herself to acknowledge that I was even there.
What kind of place treats there customers like this. It’s unbelievable to me
My hard earned money and my time are a lot more valuable then to have to beg to be served at a dive bar like this.
Pretty sad when you can go to another country to local establishments and be treated like a king. But here in my home town after paying my dues in life serving in military and local municipal public service
You’re treated like an outsider
I guess if I was wearing my uniform things would be different. But if you’re an older guy comfortably dressed in regular clothes. You’re gonna be ignored in this place.
I’m new to the area clear lake I lived in Pasadena for 35 years. Just looking for a cool place to hang out it was not my first time in this place I had been there once before when I moved down here. Got the same treatment. Don’t waist you’re time

It’s only three stars cuz it’s only a three star place. But it’s not a bad place. At all! This place has history. It’s a transplanted survivor of hurricane Ike. If you’ve been here and thought it was rough, you obviously never went to the original one. They brought as much with them as they could find after the storm and for me (first visit since) it’s starting to feel like the old place I knew.

In case you were wondering if the Clear Lake area was the douche bag capital of Texas then go to Maribelle’s for a reminder. The patrons are either fat, old ugly or just plain gross. The bar looks like it was thrown in a shopping center and every time I drive by there, someone is getting arrested. The drinks are cheap and the staff seems cool but I felt like the whole bar was waiting to cook me up and eat me. There are some crazy old drunks in this place.
