Once again my order is wrong. This is like the fourth time in a row. I called and told them and they just apologized. You think they’d offer to send me the right food. Never again.

My husband and I just ordered delivery. When it arrived the order was freezing cold, partially incorrect and the driver talked about how the people she worked with were dumb. I don’t plan to order from here any time soon… Beware

Even a bad pizza is good… right. well that is wrong. This Papa Gino’s is NASTY. The pizza cheese tasted sour, the Ziti was hard and stuck together from being cooked many hours before. The cheesy bread stick I got with the pasta was limp and cold. And the sauce was also cold. I hope all papa ginos are not this bad. I left there wondering how long before symptoms of food poisoning would start. Stay away from this one. The help looked a little unclean. That should have been my cue to leave

The pizza from Papa Gino’s is consistent. It tastes the same no matter which Papa Gino’s you visit, and that’s a good thing. What isn’t a good thing is the food preparation staff not wearing gloves. There were multiple boxes of gloves available, but not one food prep employee was wearing them. One employee would go back and forth from touching food with his bare hands and then touching his cell phone. It’s both disgusting and unsafe.

First off, no gloves while cooking food touching cheese dough then other items, but I was hungry however it was the long hair in my sub that got me & the ones with the long hair were guys, the sub was small hardly any meat. & held together by a a hair, pizza was funky tasting not your typical papa«s for a very small sub & very small pizza & a costly amount & a long wait, forget about !

When we ordered one extra large pizza tonight we were told it would take 1 ½ to 2 hrs, which is just ridiculous in the first place. After 2 ½ hrs we called and they told us they came to our apartment, rang the buzzer 4 times and called twice and we didn’t answer. We were here the whole time, phone right next to us, and someone had actually just buzzed to get in 5 minutes before we called so we know the buzzer was working. Pretty disappointed we never got our pizza, worst customer service I have experienced in a long time.

1st time ordering as we’re new to the area and thought we would try it after finding a flyer in our mail. We ordered an X– large peperoni for delivery and it did arrive fast but was missing the peperoni and we ended up a cheese pizza instead — even though the receipt and cost said peperoni. Ok no biggie, call the story to speak to the manager and they were too busy to come to the phone(kinda not cool). It was explained to person answering the phone what the issue was but because they were so busy, they wanted to know if we could just keep the pizza and get a credit for another pizza. Sure… what ever. Now the kicker, when we used the credit for our X-Large peperoni pizza we were charged for, they sent us a medium pizza. That is not what we originally paid for, we bought an X-Large and they charged us for not a medium. If they offer a credit for something they screwed up, give us what we paid for not what they think is fair. So nope, won’t go there again.

I’ve ordered from this one 6 – 7 time’s for delivery. Always has been great. I’ve only ever bought the pepperoni pizza so I can’t say much about any other food from them. The delivery drives are always friendly and polite. I personally love their pizza. A + for me. Lastly, the delivery times are good and I use their app to order.

This Papa Gino’s location once had decent food but not anymore. Extremely inconsistent with food quality! Lately subs have been falling apart upon delivery and pizzas are consistently under-cooked. Yet again I need to fire up the oven to finish cooking the pizza I ordered!!! Delivery drivers often do not have the credit card slip for me to sign.

I can honestly say after ordering from this location I will NEVER eat another Papa Gino’s Pizza. The crust was as hard as a rock and the flavor was pitiful. The place boasted an hour long wait yet I could have sworn my pizza was a day old and left out to dry. Too bad I had hoped for better.

My boyfriend is native to Salem and will never shut up about how awesome Papa Gino’s is. It’s his favorite thing and now that he’s moved to California to be with me, he constantly misses Papa Gino’s. I have to say… it is pretty freakin good. The sauce is probably the best part and there’s a lot of it. I’m usually a cheese girl but damn… for once I really like a more sauce-heavy ratio. I feel like for the flavors involved in their pizza, they get the proportions just right. I also love how thin it is. If your looking for something fancy, this might not be where you want to go. But for great, plain-old pizza– it’s awesome. Though I was enticed by their lasagna pizza and that’s pretty unique… my boyfriend insists on only ever eating pepperoni pizza. The fried raviolis were the best I’ve ever had. At other places, the ricotta cheese has been kind of… absent. I totally gorged myself on those. The cheesy bread is to-die-for. Oh man. I’m making myself so hungry now, and I can’t have Papa Gino’s! My bf is rubbing off on me.

Finding good pizza since moving to New Hampshire has been a challenge. You do not always have the time to drive to Manchester for a good pie. A good fallback option is to stop at Papa’s on the way home from Mass. The toppings are not the best always a bit undercooked for my taste, but the cheese pizza is always very good. The sauce is tangy and not bland and the thin crust is tasty albeit a little soggy. The italian sub is also adequate for a quick stop.

This is one of the dirtier Papa’s locations. You can almost never find a clean table. The quality of the pies are not as good as the Newburyport location. For once, I am at a loss as to what else to say. They used to be much better, the last couple of times I was there it was extremely forgettable. AND hubby took a bad fall on their steps becuz they were greasy. Hold your hunger a little longer and drive elsewhere.
