The Treasure Chest

This rock shop isn’t like Shu’s and I’m not close to the owner here than at Shu’s, but this is a pretty neat rock shop because it’s the owner’s house and plus he has a plant shop as well.
The shop is cozy and it’s all kinds of rocks everywhere, lots of wire wrapped pendants, earrings, and novelties made out of rocks.
The owner Gary, wire wraps his rocks and makes cabochons too. By request, he will wire wrap your favorite stone or make earrings too. That’s a plus if you are looking for unique jewelry.
Also, he has hand painted art that’s for sale, lots of good pieces.
There’s some contemporary art that’s handmade too.
I found some Brazilian and British of Columbia Amethyst here, most rock shops don’t have that, only American amethysts that’s either faded or dyed.
It’s good if you love plants and rocks because he has that’s all in one which is a plus. His own personal greenhouse with pups, aloe vera, soon he’ll be starting an herb plant sale, and pots.
The selection here is unlimited and there’s rocks literally everywhere.
Now the owner himself is a nice guy, but sometimes you have to speak loudly so he can hear you. He has his boyfriend that comes and goes, but he’s a nice and helpful.
However, the prices here isn’t overly cheap.
The shop is located on Hall Ave, it’s a yellow house.
