Meat was the cheapest Quality at high prices.
Deli wasn’t even worth the wait.
One person that worked in the deli was a baby whining miserable person. It was like you were asking for too much.
The unfortunate thing is he’s working at Stop & Shop now. Still an whining asshole.

why is this place so expensive? its not like its whole foods or anything. i was stopping by on the way home from work last night just to pick up a few things. Nothing was on sale at all. There was only 2 lines open and they were LONG and some douche kept getting on the intercom telling us about deli specials and i guess trying to be funny and he wasn’t and the deli was closed. Yeah im good ill stick to King Kullen or Stop N Shop and not have to listen to Yambag McGee try out his comedy shctick and save my $$ as well.

Coupon problem! Excellent, helpful staff, in all ranks. Currently, we encountered the nuisance that the circular in the store (1.17.2014) does not contain the coupons found in the circular delivered with Thursday’s Newsday! That is, one has to have a driveway or mailbox to get the coupons. However, this involves a limited type of coupon: three days to spend a certain amount in one visit in order to qualify for a lower price on such-​and-​such item.

Very good, convenient, 24-​hour supermarket. They have anything you could need foodwise as well as toiletries, paper towels and hardware. The fruit and veggies aren’t the highest quality or the freshest but they’re probably the cheapest around. I like shopping here late at night when no one is around.

I’d love to take away the one star I had to give. This store is filthy. One aisle was impassible due to tiny flies taking over. Go elsewhere.

Have you ever been so excited to get home from the supermarket and cook an amazing meal for your family? This is exactly how I felt last night, until I opened the pot of mushroom barley soup and found hundreds of tiny little bugs floating at the top.
I arrived at this Pathmark location around 3pm on Wednesday 11÷13÷13. I picked up some household essentials and then I grabbed chuck cubes, 4 cans of mushrooms, 3 cans of beef stock, and 2 bags of barley.
Later on in the day we started prepping the soup. After a while, I open the pot to stir the soup and after glancing at it for a second, I registered that everything floating at the top was not spices, but were literally 100 tiny bugs. I proceeded to call the store and talk to the manager. This was handled in a timely fashion and the manager, Mike, told me to bring my receipt in the next day and I’d get my money back.
So today, after work, I head to Pathmark with my receipts in hand asking to speak to a manager. Tammy, the woman who was working at the customer service desk, would not allow me to speak to the manager. She was very rude. When I told her the situation, showed her the pictures, and asked for my money back, she had the audacity to laugh in my face. She proceeded to raise her voice at me and then suggest the store replace my groceries. Do you think I’d want groceries from a store that had food infested with bugs? No thank you.
After going back and forth for about 5 minutes, miserable Tammy caved and gave me the $ 20 back. But not without a serious attitude. I have a problem with manager, John, who didn’t bother even showing his face when we asked for him multiple times.
I work in customer service and if a customer is visibly upset, you do whatever it takes, especially if you’re management. Manager Mike was very helpful last night, but John dropped the ball today. Also, you need a friendly face at the «help desk,» in the supermarket and Tammy is not the person who should be in that position.

It’s extremely convenient since it’s so close to my house as well as it’s open 24÷7… so no worries about the store hours. Pathmark locations are fairly cheap. They have great deals throughout the week and for the most part they keep a good eye on their stock. There are several items that Pathmark doesn’t carry that maybe a King Kullen or Stop & Shop would. But overall I can find what I need. The only thing is that I dislike about this place is that the store somehow is ALWAYS packed. The aisles are narrow and sometimes difficult to maneuver which makes shopping that much longer of a process. The workers there are helpful but very busy. I also like the deli department. Their cold cuts are great quality and prices. And last tip: Parking wise… beware. There’s accidents happening all the time in that lot, so be careful.

This store is old and run down but Pathmark does have the best prices. Always running good sales I shop here regularly.
