Amazing pizza spot! Don’t let the look fool you. It’s a small place but their pizza is by far my favorite on Long Island. They also let you choose what crust you would like(sesame seed, garlic, etc). The employees are always so nice too! My new go to spot !!!

Great pizza. Definitely get the sesame or the everything crust! I wish they took credit cards, but it’s not a deal-breaker for me.

If this place ever closes I swear to God I will lose my mind. It’s simply the best pizza in Nassau county. Sesame seed crust!

I wanted to give this place a shot because I currently live right by this pizza place. Man was I disappointed, Food is average at best. pizza is so so. I’ll be sticking with Umbertos up at cherry wood plaza off Jerusalem avenue everything is fresh and delicious.

I only had their pizza. So the following is based off of that and it’s service. I had received a gift card for a free pizza pie and that they had donated to a prostate cancer beard a thon a year and a half ago. I’m on the north end of Nassau county and was on the south shore due to business and figured I’d use up the card. Boy am I glad i did. It’s humble, off the beaten path in a strip mall that seems that time has forgotten if you look at the exterior. A true mom and pop old time neighborhood feel. Interior was updated but small. I entered and presented the card, not knowing if they’d accept it after a year. They didn’t bat an eye. The young man behind the counter told me they just pulled this unsliced pie out of the oven two minutes ago. The pizza cook(whose name I later learned was Willie, due to all the following patrons sending their greetings) refused to serve me that one, wanting to make a fresh one. I’d have been fine either way, but in hindsight, the extra minutes were worth it. What an excellent pizza. My preference is a slice that isn’t doused in sauce to offset the cost of cheese. When that recipe is applied I always end up with the cheese pulling off midway through, leaving me disappointed with half a slice of thin bread with that sauce on it and also my shirt. Here at Tarallo’s, there was a perfect ratio. Cheese staying on throughout each delicious bite. I tested the different slices from the pie adding seasons after the initial plan slice. I like garlic and it went well, as did hot pepper. I couldn’t let the rest of the pie go untested and without another independent person trying it. I brought the remainder home(now cold) and my family enjoyed it as well. My only fault I could find was the lack of interest grin the kid at the counter, but then again, he’s a kid just getting through high school and this is just keeping him with some change in his pocket. As I waited everyone that came in knew Willie. That sense of community, friendliness, knowing the patrons by name really brought me back to my youth. And their pizza, their pizza will definitely bring me back next time I’m in the area. DOYOURSELF A FAVOR if you’re nearby, try it. Well with it. I didn’t try their wings, but their menu has 25 pieces for $ 12.75…I’m trying that next time!!!

Every time I’m in seaford or nearby I make sure I stop by for a slice with tommy’s patented sesame seeded crust. I always find the drive to be worth it I have never been disappointed. This is true Long Island neighborhood family run pizzeria that rivals anything you would find in nyc.

I’ve been going to Tarallo’s for over 25 years and they still have the best regular slice on the island. The only criticism I have is that the staff isn’t always attentive.

I came to my Unilocal account to update my review and was shocked to see I haven’t written one for them yet… I feel so disloyal :( My update was going to be that I finally tried a calzone from Tarallo’s because I always get pizza when I go… because it is so good. They have sesame crust or no(why would anyone NOT want sesame seeds??) and it’s just a small, hometown pizza place that makes incredible pizza. I truly do not know what one place does that makes their pizza good as compared to not good but there seems to be such a variable among them and this one reminds me of childhood. The days when I would run in the local pizza stop to pick up the pizza while my mom waited in the car… so cold outside that the heat from the ovens steamed up the window and the smells were unbearable without a taste. It’s hard not to be nostalgic when I walk in here, it just has that old town vibe and the people are great. The dough is just incredible and I love the sauce… I swear they changed it a year or so ago but my husbands swears it’s the same… I think it used to be a little sweeter and I would eat 3 slices(normally I have 1 or 2 at most) but it’s still really good. Next, to the calzone… I don’t know why I was snubbing their calzones… part of me just felt like I would be disappointed but this calzone was outstanding… better than … better than everywhere else… The outside was crisp, light browned and the cheese proportions were perfect. Tarallo’s makes the perfect calzone. My problem with most places is that for some reason the inside is almost always doughy… like it wasn’t fully cooked and I despise that. I also find that the mozzarella to ricotta levels are always off… too much of one, not enough of the other(usually too much ricotta but i have had it the other way) and it’s just not as good. The day after hurricane sandy, I called to see if they were open and they answered! The guy said that he opened because he knew people didn’t have electricity and even though it would probably cost more to open than to stay closed(I suppose the electricity for the oven), he just wanted to be there for whoever might want pizza… very sweet.

I’ve been going to this pizza place for the past 15 years at least. All the workers there are so friendly and the sesame crust is amazing. One of the best pizza places around.

Tarrallos is an excellent neighborhood pizzeria. If you like Seasame crust pizza this is he place for you. The staff and owner Tommy are gregarious and always happy. Awesome garlic knots and my favorite meatball parmigiana sub in the area make it a well rounded place that I am happy to have in the neighborhood

I have distinct memories from here. So close to both the Manor and Seaford Middle School, every school function or classroom event that had pizza… was from Tarallo’s. I knew this because of their sesame seed crust. This was also a popular place for kids to hangout, especially after school. I’ve had their pizza many times and was never disappointed. Great spot that’s been around forever.

Great neighborhood pizzeria with very friendly staff! Best sesame crusted pizza I’ve had. The owner is a great guy and very personable with customers and remembers you on a first name basis.

Tarallo’s is a good, consistent neighborhood pizza place. Sesame crust on pizza as standard and chicken parm hero’s that are toasted just right. For some reason pizza from here goes down like water. Before you know it, you have eaten 3 or 4 slices.

Nice old school neighborhood place. I’ve been there a few times. I think their pizza is better than most of the area places. The sesame seed crust on the pie is a nice touch. I will try some other menu items but obviously pizzerias live and die on how good the pizza is. The staff is very nice too. You get a laid back, family feel from the place. Definitely a place I can see becoming a regular customer.
