Great experience. I called SDL on Monday morning for a leaking garbage disposal. Had to wait a day, but I was okay with that as the person answering the phone said that Mondays were usually taken up with weekend emergencies. They gave me a 4 hour time frame but said I’d have 30 minutes to get home once the serviceperson called. So I went to work and came home as soon as the serviceperson (James) called me that he was on his way. Garbage disposal was under new home AHS warranty so all I paid was $ 75. James had new disposal installed in less than 30 minutes. I was back at work in one hour. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Agree with other reviewers SDL are just BOGUS. If AHS refers you to SDL REQUEST another one. We had a guy called Gary come and just incompetent. So much so that the Warranty company brought in a SECOND OPINION from another plumbing company… and they said SDL must be «SMOKIN SOMETHING».
Utterly useless.

Tried to screw my father over little did they know he knows all about water heaters lol next time try being honest and dont add extras that you think you can slide in i wouldn’t recommend this company and the insurance company that sent them out lost a customer also.

We had a plumbing issue in our newly purchased home, and we had Homestead insurance to assist. They sent SDL Plumbing and we were very happy with the service.
They were friendly, and honestly was relieved to find them not creepy — as many other home services had been. Everything was explained to me, and although I was only paying my deductible, they made sure I understood everything and did not leave until I was ok with the issue at hand.
Ultimately they could not help me as it was not a plumbing issue, but the fact that they told me that and did not try to fake any issues or whatnot made me feel comfortable about them.
They were right on time, even called me when they were about 10 minutes away. I paid with check and they left me with their contact information should I have any other questions about the visit and what had been explained.
I would have given the 5 stars had it not been for the fact that the visit was at an inconvenient time of the business day — so I had to take the day off to make sure we were home.

This time I just got lucky! SDL Plumbing were scheduled by our home warranty service to fix a minor kitchen sink leak. We also had a new kitchen faucet set with soap dispenser we needed installed. SDL was more than willing to attend to our leak as well as install our new faucet during the same visit. The owner’s son, Sean, was our technician and he was kind, courteous and was on-​time. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Sean as well and hear about his travels around the world. Sean and his father also work for the U.S. Army as independent contractors, providing plumbing services where needed, to assist our troops. Not only did Sean do a fantastic job with our install and repair, visiting with him was a real pleasure. This was a home repair that was done with expertise and social grace. Great job, Sean!
