I’m writing an updated review to let everyone who how much I still love Amber! She has given me the most beautiful blonde hair ever! She truly is a blonde specialist. She also now does my extensions. This is my third type and by far the best yet. She’s also completes her services in a timely manor. I’m not one that enjoys sitting in a hair chair for hours. Look no further!

Shetakes time to listen to my concerns, never rushing me She makes great suggestions and understands my personality. She is fabulous with color and spends extra time cutting and shaping every time, not just the first time she meets you. She is gifted beyond measure. I always love my hair when she styles it! Amber is the BEST!

I have been going to Amber for a few years now and she is amaze balls! I always love my hair after leaving her chair and she is truly one of the coolest peeps I know. That being said, my husband started going to her and his hair is so difficult and cowlicky and over the 13 yrs together I’m always wanting to fix it. She gives him seriously, the best haircuts he has EVER had! He’s got a large noggin with crazy amounts of hair and it usually looks like frankenhead. Now it’s rounded perfectly and even. So, if that’s not enough, my 5 year old daughter wanted to chop all of her long hair off into a pixie. (like Michelle Williams, Victoria Beckham, Jennifer Lawrence). Well, I LOVE it, she LOVES it and now some of her friends want to cut there hair! Her hair’s like her daddy’s so I was a little concerned about her cowlicks sticking out. I think what it boils down to is it takes a really keen eye and talented person to understand hair patterns. It’s so natural and effortless for Amber; I think I just might start calling her Amber Scissorhands:)

Ya Amber is pretty dang great. I have been going there for 6 years and have never left disappointed. She is a expert in color and the natural blonde shades she gives me are beautiful. I dont think I could bear going to another stylist… she really is that good.

My regular hair dresser who is amazing too was out on medical leave and Amber was kind enough to see me as a client. She is on time for her appointments, very pleasant, the staff there are also too, and she did a fabulous job replicating the color that I usually get. The products they use are not chemically obnoxious and did not irritate my skin on my scalp. Also, their shampoo area seats and sinks are more comfortable than the average when it comes to neck and back support so that is a plus too! Only draw back is the parking situation but that is beyond the salon’s control. Just remember to arrive a little early to find parking and if you are early go get a coffee and pastry at La Crema before your appointment!

I’ve been going to Amber for seven years. She’s seen me through my OC two-​toned phase, the time I decided to go dark red, back to blonde, and now, my natural color with highlights. She is phenomenal with color. She took me from dark red to blonde in two sessions. Her color choices have always been spot on and she always considers your natural tones in selecting a color. Her cuts are also amazing. They grow out so well that I can go 4 – 5 months before going back. When I lived in San Francisco, I used to fly back just to get my hair done (the stylists in SF charged twice as much, took twice as long for highlights, and didn’t do as good a job). Most importantly, Amber is awesome. You’ll want to make another appointment just so you can hang out with her (especially when her friend Chris is there!).

I found Amber’s ad online and her Unilocal reviews were outstanding so I hired her to do the hair style for my son’s bride-​to-​be on the day of the wedding. Amber was a pleasure to work with. She had the bride-​to-​be come down to her shop for a trial hair session and then showed up at the site of the wedding on time and performed her magic on the bride’s long hair, putting some up and some down, beautiful cascading curls. Simply beautiful and stunning. Everyone thought she was so beautiful and outstanding hair style for sure. A big thank you goes out to Amber for taking such time and patience in producing a wonderful result for the bride. I highly recommend her to take care of your bride-​to-​be and have her come down the aisle stunning.

Amber was amazing! I just moved here from Boston and was nervous about finding a new hair stylist. I’m so happy that I bought the Unilocal deal. I love how my highlights and cut came out and I will definitely stick with Amber from now on. She’s also very friendly and was helpful about recommendations of good places to eat and go out in the area. Highly recommend!

Amber gives $ 100 haircuts at a $ 50 price tag! You feel like you left a high end salon but your purse doesn’t know it :)

Amber is AMAZING! She takes the time and has the talent to make you look fantastic. There is no way to truly describe how you feel when she is done with your cut and color but, you feel like a rockstar! And if you know me you understand why I need to take my gorgeous hair out after she is done.
