I was there at Sand and Surf for a few days the end of August. Over the years I have stayed at many different places some good some bad. Now for there review I asked for a microwave and was told oh no you have a stove in your room your room does not get a microwave. What does it matter if I have a stove it’s not a microwave. It wasn’t until I came home was then I looked up the motel and notice that every room gets a microwave. Let’s talk about the beds omg are you kidding me there were 3 in my unit and they were all bad It is a shame that after Sandy a lot of hotels, motels and Inns either ever re opened or they are just not building more so people like myself have to settle for less and for more money. Where is the governor of NJ now if you want people to come back then stop letting the owners jack up the prices. They got money from FEMA, don’t squeeze us. Thanks, Anna

If you enjoy staying at a prison style hotel than this is your place! If you like surprise charges and security deposits, than this is your place. Worst motel on the strip, horrible rooms. Old and run down

I stayed here during 4th of July weekend and I was thoroughly impressed. The room was clean and relatively spacious(I had zero complaints). It was a 2-room… room with a TV and working air conditioner. The best part about staying here was that our room was RIGHT on the boardwalk. You walked out the door, took 4 steps and you were on the boardwalk. Jersey Shore Café was across the street, as in seen from the room window. THE Jersey Shore house is actually next door. I thought that was kind of interesting. My parents paid for the room so I can make any comments on price. What I can say though is that I thought it was a good deal. From what I noticed in the lobby, they were charging $ 70/night for adults. For the price and convenience, I’d absolutely stay here again!
