Today, I ordered a small chai for 3.50. The drink was only ¾ full and with foam. I Was VERYDISAPPOINTED. The drink was not worth the price and the service was’t that great. Not going there again.

One of my clients recommended this place to me and since I was headed past Seaside I decided to stop in. It’s not easy to find but it’s totally worth the time! In an area surrounded by a major coffee chain this place is for REAL coffee lovers. The beans are ground fresh for your drink, they are smooth and perfectly roasted and the people are great! I will happily be returning over and over again each time I am headed into or out of Monterey/PG.

These guys know coffee! This was the perfect spot to start my day, with a lovely flat white(not on the menu, but they were more than happy to take a custom order) and an almond croissant, yum!

Yum yum yum! The whip cream is amazing. Iced mocha is to die for. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgable. Fast service! My friend didn’t like the iced coffee because it was too bitter but I’ll leave her at home next time.

Yesterday was our first time here. All we both had was a small half-caf coffee. Wow! I’m serious. Lol. It was amazing. And we are serious coffee drinkers. It tasted so fresh and the flavor was so smooth and… almost creamy. We will be back for sure. Must try their«Nitro» iced coffee??? Hmmm… sounds interesting.

I came here on a Saturday morning after my spin class. It’s a cute coffee place and company which is based in Seaside /sand City California. It has always, I ever since I have been going to Jim Chinese food and Vance tailoring to get my pants changed. They gave you free coffee or a shot of espresso with a bag of beans the coffee is good and has a great selection and great place to have your morning coffee and energy. The people involved here are nice they played great music usually some sort of funk music. Are you alone my 5 star because of the taste of their coffees and how they grind your coffee if you buy a bag of beans and also the people that work there are very informative about Coffee education.

Just checked out this place today, and am currently enjoying my iced quad shots as I write this! So awesome vibe, I love the casual walkup approach and the interior was comfortable and branding thoughtfully appointed. My go-to order when exploring a new coffee spot is simple to be able to really taste the espresso: triple shot in a large cup with extra ice. A couple of pumps of sugar free vanilla if they have it. Splash of heavy cream and half and half(try it, you will swear your life to it). The barista said they pull in doubles, so t not be wasteful of course I upgraded to a quad shot. The kinda inconvenient catch: they only offer any espresso over ice in these small cups which sort of sucks because if you want room for extra ice and a splash of cream or milk there won’t be any. If you want your espresso shots in their actual large cups you’ve got to pay for a latte/etc. And that’s what I did because for me, espresso shots not properly iced is a no-go, and I need my proper coffee ratio to continue doing the walking and talking and humanly functions. I paid up for it though, it came out to $ 6… for a large cup of ice and espresso in the bottom. The only other bummer, they don’t have any sugar-free syrups in house or heavy whipping cream. I was a bit surprised as those seem like pretty basic requests for a coffee shop. I ended up adding a splash of half and half at their self serve bar, and then brought it home to add my own heavy whipping cream and get my drink squared away. Overall a 3-star experience as far as price, drink customizability and convenience, but 4 stars because this review should be what is most important and this coffee is DELISH. So fresh, I went with the staff’s recommendation of their Mexico roast which advertised sweet, deep caramel tones and it does deliver! So I’ll be back, bringing a flask of heavy whipping cream spiked with sugar free vanilla.

Best coffee ever. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest so I am a coffee nut. Acme has incredible coffee. The staff is great. I always feel welcomed!

The coffee here is so good! I’ve tried the vanilla latte, the white mocha, and the Vietnamese iced coffee. They were all so good! Each one was made perfectly and the latte even had a cute leaf on it in the foam! The workers here are super relaxed and nice. It definitely has a local feel to it but I would definitely check it out if you are around the area. Only bummer is that it is closed Sunday’s :(

Amazing coffee. The pour over«Rwanda» was amazing, light, smooth, and aromatic. It was good black, with no sugar or cream. The Mexican mocha was strong and distinct as well.

Great local coffee roaster/coffee shop. Very good quality coffees and great staff! Tourists, I know youre looking for coffee shops right now. Give this one a shot if youre in the Seaside area. Tip: dont plug these directions into your phone. The front of the store is on Contra Costa street right off Broadway.

Best mocha I’ve ever had. The almost 5 stars Acme is totally warranted! Intending to get some work done, I was disappointed when there was no wi-fi, just basically a grab-and-go open shop. But the goods were just to die for, and the whipped cream the thickest I’ve ever gotten at a coffee joint.(ancho chile mocha, YUM.) I now try to plan all my trips on PCH around their open hours… wish they were open later!

Checking out new speciality coffee shops is one of my favorite things about traveling. So when I saw that this coffee shop in Seaside had a 4.5 star average on Unilocal,I was definitely excited to check it out. I’m not sure if all of Seaside is similar to Salinas or just this neighborhood – but this is definitely not a touristy area like Cannery Row in Monterey. The shop was a bit hard to find because the area is a mix of both residences and commercial businesses. My friends and I ended up parking around the block and walked past several houses to find it. First of all, there is no indoor seating. So expect to either get your coffee to-go or use some of the limited outdoor seating available. While I often get my coffee to-go while in a rush, I strongly prefer coffee shops to have indoor seating available. This is clearly a popular place and it was a bit hard to figure out who was waiting in line and who was waiting for their drink. Once we figured out which section was the line, we were able to order our drinks fairly quickly. I ordered an Aztec Mocha in a 10oz cup, which tasted burnt to me and which I didn’t particularly care for. One of my friends told me that it could be related to the Aztec flavoring, but my palate still tasted burnt coffee. I just didn’t really see anything about this place that struck me as above average or worth seeking out again. I don’t regret checking it out as a one time experience, but I don’t see myself going out of my way to come back either.

Bomb coffee and great, friendly staff! I chose the Road Dog House French Roast to bring home and it is now my favorite coffee. I appreciated them asking me what kind of coffee maker I had since they customized the size of the coffee grounds. Their store is simple, yet has everything a coffee lover would want-even Vietnamese Coffee! I feel good supporting this business instead of getting«corporate coffee».

Don’t know how well they are following through with their«resist corporate coffee» mission statement; however their homemade cold brew is the best I’ve tasted, super low acidity too Just passing through but luckily ran across this gem. Service looked and treated me like they were real, raw locals on round 2 of their identity cycle. Much appreciated.

LOVEITTTTTT. Yes I do. One– They operate in a little free-standing garage complete with a wire fence. It’s very unique and cool. Two– Inside, there’s just standing space to order and wait, but the high ceilings, and simple layout is appealing. Three– they make their own chocolate blend, make their own decaf-infused whip cream, have awesome coffee, awesome staff, and baked goods. What’s not to like? They have their own little parking lot too. They have 3 mini seating areas outside. Definitely stop by. It’s a little treasure to make your day better ;)

4.5 stars: this place has great coffee. I stopped by on my way home to San Francisco and my 16 oz latte gave me a righteous buzz all the way home. Great coffee in a walk up bar setting This is a place for a good cup for the road. There is practically no seating save for two very small bar-style tables in the hot sun Still the coffee was excellent and there seemed to be a nice crowd of regulars lined up which says something given that there is a Starbucks nearby in. a much more convenient location The location is around the corner from the official Palm ave address so don’t give up if you can’t find it right away Enjoy! Ps. They also have some nice donuts and pastries and also make Mexican coffee which, I think has cinnamon in it

«Resist Corporate Coffee» This is splashed about the Acme Coffee Roasting coffeehouse liberally and I agree. You will only find me in a corporate coffeehouse if there is no alternative. Acme is a neat little hole in the wall location with friendly folks and great coffee. Now if I could only remember where I left my Acme anvil and Acme catapult.
