I bought an aux cord cassette on the 17th of Feb. I took it back on the 20th with receipt in hand. I told the fella the item did not work. He asked where the packaging was and I told him the manager, who sold me the item took the packaging. He said, well it said right on the receipt no returns without packaging. I took my receipt, left the aux cable with him and left. When the establishment was managed by Dan, at radio shack, he took care of his customers. He took the time to ask about your day. These people are a joke in comparison. I will NEVER purchase anything from them again and if anybody does you better be prepared for a hum drum experience at best. No personalities. No customer service skills… Just SAD.

Locally owned business… Currently a Radio Shack franchise /dealer but I think that’s going away. Friendly, helpful folks who are very locally well established. Perfect place to stop when travelling through town and realize you left your phone charger at home or back in your hotel room. Being a Radio Shack you know they have batteries galore! Trust these folks to have what you need!

I had the best electronic’s shopping experience of my life at Kennell’s! Came into Seaside with one missing charger(mine) and one lost phone(partners). In other words we were Out of Touch!!! We stopped at Kennells to try to buy a charger, but as expected I was told that my phone was so old that no chargers were available. This wasn’t unexpected as this had been happening for months as I searched for backup chargers. Kennell’s hooked me up with a great deal on an Iphone six to replace my dead dumb phone. Dan Kennell checked our Verizon account and found it was antiquated too. We left Kennells and Seaside with two new iPhone 6s at an out of pocket cost(after rebates) of about $ 50 each. Our new Verizon plan will cover our new data needs at no cost over our old plan. Dan dealt with the fact that neither I nor my partner could remember various importnt passwords with patience and humor. We left with two new functioning phones, some idea of how to use them, and a new friend. Kennell’s is worth the drive. And MUCHBETTER customer service than the internet!

Our two local Radio Shack stores(Warrenton & this one in Seaside) are independently owned and sadly, like most places are steering customers toward the internet to do all of their shopping. In other words, inventory is thin and you take your chances if the trip was a wasted one or not. Kennell’s(Radio Shack) offers friendly and helpful customer service, which is a rare thing these days on the Oregon Coast. My sexy geek love was a happy camper as they had all of the little gadgets that she needed to build a project… yes, I said BUILD a project. Who needs Chinese child labour when I have her.(wink) Decent store layout and a fun place to browse to find little gadgets and what-nots. They have these cool little robot thingies that are fun to regress and play with and amuse your cats into the wee hours. Seaside’s local economy sucks, so try to give them some business and love so you can to keep a few jobs in the area alive or else this place will become yet another dilapidated empty shell of a venture that will sit and be a blight on the coast for the tweakers to shoot up in and the transients to piss upon.

So this won’t be the largest Radio Shack you’ll ever see, but if you’re in Seaside and you need some electronic«stuff», they’re more likely to have it than anyone around. Fortunately for me, they were able to provide me with a replacement mouse for my computer while I was working at the coast. They had 4 or 5 options to choose from, I thought the price was typical of any Radio Shack I’ve been to and I was in and out in under 5 minutes. It’s nice to be away from the big city but still able to find the important techy things in a hurry when you need them. The folks know their stuff, are friendly and eager to help.
