A favorite spot every time we visit Seaside! Fun karaōke some nights, dancing others, and delicious food!

We noped the you know what out of there during karaōke because their staff is the literal worst. Of course you could be a 40 year old hobag there alone dancing with every dude. Or a man in a muscle shirt dancing and singing alone with a chain for a dog around his neck but goodness forbid you cheer for said unfortunates. We were asked to shut up when cheering for those who had no table of friends to cheer for them. We chose to leave. Wish we could give the same good cheer to the staff that we gave to everyone else. Alas, it’s a lost cause at Twisted Fish. Boo x 100000

This is one of the worst establishments I have ever visited. I was told I MUST quiet down when I was cheering for multiple singers during karaōke night. I do need to let you know It was simply cheering, no profanity or vulgarism. Simply rooting for a friend(who was amazing) and underdogs who were getting no LOVE(including a young man with Down syndrome.) I have never been so taken aback and appalled. It was a Friday night, with out-of-towners and a Bachelorette Party. Stan was the«security guard» that rudely came to our table and TOLD me «You must quiet down.» I will never go back and I will tell everyone I know about how absolutely terrible this place was.

We arrived to the Twisted Fish, receiving more than one dirty look from the staff. The waitresses were clearly starting their closing list, even at 8:30 pm when they do not close until 10 pm. The staff said they stop serving minors after 8:30 pm; however, their sign said minors were served until 10 pm. That’s rather odd to begin with. Also, we arrived at 8:30 pm so technically we should’ve still been served. We are a family of 4, easily about to spend at least $ 150 on one of our last evenings in Seaside, unfortunately the lazy waitstaff wanted to get out as early as possible. I feel for the owners, seeing as they lost out on good business.

As far as healthy sandwiches and salads go, my meal exceeded the expectations I had going in. Stopped in for lunch after walking around Seaside and I settled on the Halibut Club and the Arugula Salad. At $ 18, the price of the sandwich was pretty steep but thankfully the piece of halibut was substantial, it had half an avocado sliced on it, and the bacon was cooked to my liking, all of which made for a fantastic tasting club. The cole slaw dressing was a little too runny for my liking. It was still ok to eat, but was lackluster as a side with the runny dressing. As much as I loved biting into that delicious halibut with all the extra goodies, I think I may of enjoyed the Arugula Salad slightly more. The honey balsamic dressing was extremely tasty and elevated the sweetness of the fresh fruit and cranberries when I got everything mixed up. The goat cheese crumbles were also a nice touch. This salad could definitely function as a meal if you add some grilled chicken breast for a little money. All in all, I was quite satisfied with my meal. Some of the prices are a bit high but the overall quality of food seems to be on point, minus the sub par cole slaw. If you’re from out of town and looking for a more well rounded and hearty meal, it’s worth eating here as part of your Seaside experience.

Nice place. My burger was excellent. Russell’s bottomless baby back ribs were very good. Then there was karaōke and twerking

Great service, excellent food and a great ambiance. Deliciously perfect scallops, and an excellent cooked to order steak(yes a restaurant got medium rare correct!). Also, the Brussels sprouts are to die for!

Food was amazing, service was a bit slow. We had the fried oysters, steamer clams, prime rib and fish and chips. All were amazing! The kids loved drawing on the table. Great family environment, highly recommended!

Great burger and fries, excellent service. Convenient location amongst all the Seaside tourist-y stuff, half dining area/half sports bar. Very family friendly, with plenty of kids around during my Saturday dinner and paper table cloth with crayons. My cheeseburger($ 10) was cooked perfectly, love the soft bun(potato bread maybe?), the 1⁄3 pound patty just the right size, and plenty of lettuce, tomato, and red onion slices. It came with a tasty sauce that reminds me of thousand island. Shoestring fries were a good sized portion and hot and crispy — I recommend ranch and BBQ for dipping sauces(no extra charge)! Server followed up well and food came out quicker than expected. The basket of breadsticks(2 for 2 people) with butter and EVOO/balsamic vinegar was a nice surprise. Not the best, but free. The glass for my ginger ale was a little short, so got more refills than usual. I liked the big menu, plenty of options for everyone.

Good place, nice servers. It feels like a high end steakhouse except for the karaōke area they have. Although… Live music! The pan wild salmon with rissotto was amazing(get it!). I went for the steak, ordered medium but was rare, which it’s better under than overcooked. They fixed it, and they were really nice since they discounted the steak from my bill. Tip: the steak and the scalloped potatoes were heavy on the pepper. If you are getting that, ask them to minimize the pepper.

This is the second time my husband and I have been here & it was great both time. I ordered the wedge salad no bleu cheese with balsamic dressing and grilled chicken. My husband got the chicken strips and fries which he loved.

I went here to watch the UFC fights. Place was packed. My waitress did a great job keeping the drinks and water going. I did not receive a menu though but I just looked it up on my phone and ordered when she came by. I had the crab Mac and cheese which was excellent.

We’ve been to the bar 3 times now late night for drinks and dancing. The first two times the mid 40’s DJ grossly checked out and stared at most of the women in the club. His music mix was ok but doesn’t understand how to construct a mix. Numerous times he played a song and cleared the dance floor. If a guy requested a song he’d ignore you or have a bouncer remove you from the stage. If a woman requested he’d try to touch her and would lean in akwardly. It was just uncomfortable. 3rd time we went it was a new DJ but still had issues putting together a solid mix. Bouncers were all over the place and fairly rude for no reason, and kicked a couple people out, seems they have a short fuse. Bartenders are pretty effecient and we didn’t have any issues there. We’ve never eaten any food there.

Really good place for a late night snack. Great Bartenders and servers are solid. However, the Security might need to watch«Roadhouse» a few times. Maybe figure out your roles and enforce something. You should not allow local drunks to harass your paying customers. If they are cut off to drink, why are they allowed in your bar? You know what they are doing, so kick the drunk out and use the 86. People are paying to have a good time at your establishment, not having some guy come up and touch them drunk and probe for a fight. That being said. It’s a sweet place for fun and music/singing. Burgers are good, brussels sprouts are really tasty. I’d go back anytime.

Went to the Twisted Fish because it was the only bar in town showing the Rousey fight and the Duck game. There was a $ 10 cover for the Rousey fight, but it was worth it. My wife and I got there at about 5 pm and she ordered ouster shooters, wedge salad, and Brussels sprouts off the happy hour menu. The Brussels sprouts were sooo good and she enjoyed the oyster shooters as well. I ordered the Kobe burger, which was good but a little greasy and heavy in the mayo. We had quite a few drinks while watching the games and my wife was sunrises after ordering a Vortex IPA in a can that it was 7.75. That’s expensive for beer out of a can. We also had Jaeger bombs to celebrate the duck win and they ran $ 10 per shot. This isn’t what we’re used to being from Eugene, but I guess that’s what you get without a lot of other choices. The only other thing that wasn’t great was the beer selections. There were only about 8 beers on tap and not that great of a selection. We did enjoy the atmosphere for the game and it our server did a great job gettin is our bill prior to being slammed at the end of the fight.

This restaurant discriminates against families and LGBTQ people. Do not give them their business unless you like supporting intolerant and idiotic bigots. We arrived here hoping to find a quick bite to eat for dinner, only to be rudely told at the door by the host that the restaurant doesn’t ever allow minors at all because they serve alcohol in their bar. The bar which is already divided by a wall from the main restaurant, therefore satisfying any legal obligations for places that serve alcohol. Their arbitrary restriction on «minors» apparently includes our 6-week old sleeping infant. Because we were planning on pouring shots down his throat, right? We were told to try their sister restaurant next door(Finn’s), but while they have nearly the same exact menu, prices are artificially higher for almost every item. Finn’s also has alcohol served in-house, so the restriction on minors at Twisted Fish appears to be nothing more than discrimination. Considering that many of the other reviews state that this restaurant is run by homophobic bigots who illegally refuse to serve gay people, discrimination appears to be par for the course at this establishment. We decided not to give their sister restaurant our business either and went to Fultano’s Pizza where we were greeted warmly and made to feel like appreciated customers. Fuck this place, I hope they get sued and shut down for their illegal discrimination.

I hate to give poor reviews, but this is a seriously lousy restaurant. It was so bad that we didn’t know whether to laugh or to cry about it. Here’s what happened, in a nutshell. We had been eating seafood all week and wanted something different. We had a vegan amongst us, and saw on their dinner menu a vegetarian dish that looked good. We wanted to find out if we could order it at lunch, so we went in the evening before to ask. The young woman working there was decidedly… unhelpful. She stared at us for a long time, and then said, «You’ll have to come in tomorrow at lunch and ask the chef then.» So we said, maybe we can call ahead when they open, and when exactly do they open? «I don’t know.(pause for a few seconds) I don’t work in the morning.» The whole exchange took awhile because she looked pretty dazed, and I felt like I was talking to someone who was in a dream. Undaunted, we put our names down anyway, for 11 people, for the next day at noon. The next day, when we arrived at noon, our table was not set up for us, it was as if there was no reservation. Our server was polite and enthusiastic enough, but he kept getting our orders mixed up. Not only that, the food was a hit or miss. The chili was extremely bad and COLD. The arugula salad was tiny and seriously overpriced. The brussel sprouts appetizer was good, but you get tired of it after awhile because there was too much bacon and not much of anything else. The baby back rib was HUGE, and tasted just ok. The burgers were ok. The clam chowder was way too salty and thick. The ice tea was from yesterday.

Pretty good place to go in Seaside… The crab louis was delicious! And the peanut butter pie was wonderful! The place is always clean as well. For the most part, the service is fairly good… Although, there was one bartender/waitress working in the back bar area last June that was REALLY rough around the edges. We asked if we could leave the back door propped open(same door to enter and exit from) to be able to watch my dog who was tied up, and also because we were really warm… she rudely said«absolutely not» and kept shutting it, and was pretty abrupt throughout the rest of our meal. So we ate pretty fast and scrambled out quickly to a different place. There are plenty of other places in Seaside who accommodate dogs a lot more, so that’s where you’ll find me next time if I have Maddie dog and need some fresh air.
