This is the best dog park in the area. There’s a private small area for little dogs(or anti-social dogs), and a huge area for all friendly dogs. The ground is mostly dirt with gravel in some parts, so plan for your pooch to get dirty. There are now two water stations in the big area, one by the entrance, and one in the back. There are also doggy pick up bags available, so people are able to pick up after their dogs. The dogs and dog owners are almost always friendly, although we have run into a few naughty dogs and owners! Bring your own toys if you like to play fetch, sometimes you will find a ball, sometimes not. There are picnic tables and chairs throughout the park, so you have a place to sit down if you want to. Big thanks to the crew that has been working to make this dog park awesome! Someone said there’s even a facebook group where they plan times to meet up!

Great park. Plenty of room. Water and little and big dog side. Parking can be hard. But the park is well worth it.

Don’t understand why you would have rocks at a dog park. My poor guys paws are so ripped apart. Nice location horrible idea to have rocks. Sand or grass or moss.

Pacchetti Park is nothing like I imagined, it is actually BETTER. WHY? Here are several reasons: — Dogs are unleashed, which gives owners a break and to have fun with their dogs in a large area and gives dogs the opportunity to meet other dogs and run around freely. — The dogs behave and listen to their owner! I have yet to see a dog whom hasn’t listened to their owner and this is great because even the dogs that may look scarey are trained very well and are able to interact with other dogs(bigger/smaller than them) and humans. — The park is separated in sections, one for small dogs and another one for all sizes. I am dog sitting a Corgi and German Shepherd so we are usually in the«one for all sizes». — The park ISLARGE! This is absolutely wonderful, because it gives the dogs a chance to stretch their legs in all directions without taking space up. — Lastly, the dog owners who bring their dogs are kind and respectful. I enjoy coming here probably just as much as the dogs because of meeting new people and experiencing how kind they are. They are really genuine people looking to spark up a conversation and have their dog play with other dogs. This dog park is community based and I love that in a city like Seaside, where everyone thinks of it as a bad place, there are actually perks like this dog park, which bring the community together(of all the Monterey Bay) and keep this part of the city safe. ** Side note: I wish there was grass, but understandable due to the drought.

New fencing put up in May. Nice open spaces for dogs to run. Even a small dog fenced area. Only complaint is that it’s kind of dusty and there is no grass… Just sand dirt and gravel. Nice high fencing though!

Wonderful neighborhood parks, too bad they are in need of a good grooming. The underground wildlife are digging up a lot of holes and tunnels. I spotted a few squirrels ducking in and out. Still I enjoyed a nice romp in the park. Try it. You will like it.
