Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church

We are a non denominational, open minded and lightly spiritual family. I enrolled my 4-​year old in the Pre-​K class. My niece and nephew attended their pre-​k school, and based on their results we decided to enroll our son there too. Best decision we could have made. The teachers are patient, kind, gentle yet firm, and very professional with years of teaching experience. They sing songs and read stories in the beginning with all the classes then separate to their separate classes. They request parent volunteers but are very understanding if parents cannot.
My son didn’t just thrive in this school, he blossomed! His art skills have skyrocketed, his love of reading and learning and singing have soared, he struggles with math but is very interested in the concept tries to learn on his own. He’s learned to persevere during challenging projects and learned to solve problems. He’s become so cooperative and social, and loves his «jobs» at school (line leader is his favorite now). Their goal is to have the pre-​k kids reading at a 1^st to 3^rd grade level and have them as prepared for kindergarten as they possibly can. There are two parent-​teacher conferences per year where they discuss problem areas and successes and they’re always available to answer questions and address concerns at any time.
They have homework assignments each friday (due on wednesday) which for us as parents was challenging, but it’s not much. At the end of the year, they hand back the homework in a binder along with the year’s art projects — we haven’t seen ours yet, but I’m excited.
We are not religious, but my 4 year old son has taken the lead to bring prayer and songs of a loving God into our home, to tell us bible stories he’s learned and to teach us the songs. We really cannot say enough about this fantastic establishment. I highly recommend this school.
