Skyway Inn Hotel

I guess you really do get what you pay for, but this cheap airport parking is even below the standard of what you would expect. I parked my car in front of the establishment and they had their valet move it to the back of the property where their cameras did not work.
My tire wheel and tire sensor were stolen and I later noticed that my plates were also stolen and switched out for stolen plates. Management did not call I found out when I got home from my vacation, I spoke with the clerk who was very kind and helpful and stated that the manager said that they would help with whatever I needed and that I was offered a free night there at the motel which I declined. No one knew whether the cameras were working and I had to wait to speak to management the next day.
Management did not call back as I had asked however and when I did get management on the telephone they were not very helpful long story short my use of Skyway and cost me an additional $ 300. I would never use them again and instead will probably be using an über to get back and forth from the airport. Never use this airport parking unless you want to come out of your pocket with an extra hundred or more dollars.

This place is not worth your life. The rooms are dirty and the heat so not work. The area is unsafe and scary. When I parked my car to go up to my room, I was approached by a creepy dude demanding that I get him a room in which I had to pull out my taser to get him away from me. There were ppl hanging out in front of my door smoking and being loud. I do not recommend this place to anyone unless you carry a gun.

Never parking here again. My flight filled up last second and so I didn’t get on. I called to be picked up and they wouldn’t give me a refund, for having parked here for a half hour. It’s advertised as $ 6.99 a day to park but then they throw on a $ 6.25 fee for the shuttle service. Boarder line criminals if you ask me.

PARK HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK! This has to be the worst service possible! I was left waiting for over an hour and then once I arrived they had lost my keys, moved my car without my permission or written consent and on top of that I waited another 46 minutes to get my car because it was «blocked» by another car. I was told it was moved because of the length of the stay but my car was only there for 4 days and a gentlemen on my same car ride car had been there for 2 weeks and his car had not been moved. I wouldn’t use them again for all the money in the world. When I had questions I was told to call management and to not park here again, as if I would. I’ll also be filing a complaint with the BBB!

I was going out of town for the weekend and wanted to find a safe and convenient place to park my car that is close to the airport. I decided on Skyway Inn also because there was a shuttle and it seemed like a good deal.
The venue itself feels very sketchy. When I got there, the front desk staff was not attentive… I waited ten minutes before I was helped but not before he helped a man that just came after me. Also, after taxes and their service fee, the final cost was triple the amount that was advertised.
Anyway, it’s not worth the savings. I don’t recommend this place.

This place is the worst hotel iv ever stayed in. the websight makes it sound cozy with amenities… nothing they said in the room was here. the place is not clean. walls are cracked and I found soap in the peep hole. .not to mention they charged me an xtra 50.00 bucks cash deposit when I checked in. if I had it to do over I’d never ever stay here again! Save yourself the money and stay in a place that the staff cleans and is nice to paying ppl who stay here… lady at front desk is rude and shouldn’t be working with the public!

Do not park here. We parked our car there for two weeks. It was fine until we as tried home to wait over an hour for a shuttle back to our car. When we called to request a shuttle we were told 20 minutes. 30 minutes later a shuttle arrived that was too full to board. Then we waited another 30 minutes for a shuttle that just barely had enough room. My advice is pay a little more for better service

I booked this hotel because I needed something cheap for a few nights. The location isn’t convenient if you need to spend most of the time in Seattle, but it can be worse (as in farther away). The hotel is right on International Blvd/​Route 99, which sees a lot of traffic at all hours of the day or night. I tried propping my door open a few times to get some air in, but could only take a few minutes of noise before having to close it. Maybe it was the time of the year (mid-​August), but the parking area was jam-​full, so on one of the nights I had to leave my car in an unpaved lot behind the main buildings. There was also construction going on during the day right behind the hotel, with workers putting up an extension of the light rail line. I think a lot of the parking issues have to do with this construction — workers leaving their cars near the hotel or on the hotel property, as well as nearby residents affected by construction. The main driveway ALWAYS had so many vehicles on it that it was almost impossible to negotiate.
As for the facilities, the staircases inside the buildings are made of old wood, threatening to break apart any minute. Same thing for the doors to the rooms — one good shove would appear to open them. Inside the room it was clean and the bed was comfortable, but overall you can tell what a rundown dump this is. Other issues included the broken juice machine in the lobby at breakfast, clueless receptionists, cigarette smoke drifting in from people lighting up in the courtyard, and just the hassle of parking. This is definitely a place for people on a (super low) budget, which means shady characters sometimes. Do yourself a favor and spend the money on a better room elsewhere, you will not regret it.

Worst experience I’ve ever had in a motel or hotel. For $ 90 a night I expected a clean sanitary room. There were ants on the bathroom floor and hair in the shower. This I didn’t mind as much, it was fairly easy to kill the ants and clean the hair. The worst part was waking up repeatedly because I kept itching terribly. I turned on the light and saw ants on my bed. As I jumped out of bed we noticed hundreds of ants underneath us and crawling up on the sides of the bed. We had to immediately take a shower because they were in our clothes and we had bites in multiple places. We took pictures and video and immediately went to the manager. All we were allowed was half our money back and a response saying this isn’t the first time this hotel has received this complaint. I will never ever stay here again.

Stayed here for 2 nights with no problems! It’s close to downtown Seattle and the room was comfy. The breakfast wasn’t too great and the room was a tad run down but you get what you pay for. I would stay again!

DO NOT PARK HERE! We parked here for two weeks while we were on vacation, came back to our drivers side window completely smashed out, glass everywhere and the car completely open, and our gas emptied. When we told the person at the desk she didn’t seem to care, and finally found a broom to give us to clean the glass out of our car. Come to find out, our car had been broken into the day we left, and was left completely open for the entire two weeks we were gone. DO NOT PARK YOUR CAR HERE

Cheap parking cost more than higher priced lots in the end… BEWARE!!!
This is a bit of a long review but there’s a story so bear with me. I stayed at the Skyway Inn for their one night sleep and fly package. It was definitely cheap enough and since I had an early flight and I was two hours away from the airport I decided to take the package. Room was bad but there’s not much you can expect from one of the cheapest motels in the area. I chose the Skyway Inn because of its proximity to the airport. Less than a mile.
I got down to the lobby at 9:45am with my bags and waited for the free shuttle. I was told he had just left and would be back within 15 minutes. No problem so far.
When the shuttle returned at about 10:00am, he got out and immediately started talking to someone that had been waiting for him. Apparently, that day, the owner himself was driving the shuttle. After about 15 min of them chatting, I went to the front counter and asked how long this meeting with the owner/​driver would take. She said he won’t be too long. In this time, 5 sets of passengers and tons of luggage had gathered in the front waiting for this shuttle.
We all waited another 15 min and then I just went ahead and interrupted the owner himself and said «we have to get going, we all have flights to catch». He nodded (without even apologizing for holding us all up) and we all boarded the shuttle. By the time we left it was 10:45am. We caught every red light and he drove like it was a lazy Sunday. A one mile journey took 15 minutes.
I got to the check in counter at 11:05am — 30 min before my flight to check in my bags. I was notified that as they are late checked bags (15 min late to be exact) they may not make it to Dallas. I was upset but what could I do? Wasn’t the airline’s fault. Nearly missed my flight too.
One bag made it, one didn’t. I had to go back to the airport the next morning at 7am to pick up my bag. The airport was an hour each way (160 miles total). That’s 2 hours and $ 20 in gas wasted plus the inital hour on the day of the flight trying to locate the bag.
So if you were paying for parking, it’s $ 6 per day. Sounds like a good deal. But in the end, it cost me over $ 10 a day to get rude service, a dirty lot with very little security, 3 – 4 hours of my time wasted, no apology, and shuttling delays.
Use Masterpark or some other brand name… I will be in the future.

i am a regular customer to park my car here when i fly out from seatac. up to now i have had no problems.
last thursday i dropped off my car and got in the shuttle van. not all of the seatbelts worked which is a safety hazard. the driver, tony, tailgated cars all the way to the airport. he tailgated a school bus so closely that if the bus had not taken a left turn at the last moment we would have hit the school bus. it was extremely upsetting. most of the customers in the van were very scared. tony the van driver continued to tailgate other vehicles all the way to the airport.
by the time we arrived i was shaking. even though i have been a loyal customer i will not choose to park my care here anymore. my family’s safety is much more important than saving a few dollars.
i have repeatedly tried to call to reach the manager to let him know about the safety problem with their driver. he has never returned any of my calls and has not been there when i have tried to reach him — i have called 4 times.
please do not put your family’s safety in danger to save a few dollars. other airport parking options offer much safer alternatives.

If I could give this place no stars I would. I left after for several reasons, one they said I had to leave my keys with them after their website said there was self parking. Number two reason I watched their driver back into two other vehicles and not take care of the problem. While the owner looked and went back to her desk, she may have started calling someone, but didn’t see any movement from anyone to make things right.
If you want to park here, go for it but park at your own risk.

I have used Skyway Inn for PARKING 4 times while going to Sea-​tac. The first two times I used them they were good, the van was there within 10 minutes of calling and had no problems. The third time it took 45 minutes and was a mess. The fourth time I came back and they tried to give me someone else’s car. When I told them that, that car wasn’t mine I walked over to my car and found that my car was out of gear and didn’t have the emergency break pulled and had rolled back onto a curb. Not acceptable, if the curb wasn’t there my car would have rolled into another car/​done damage. Avoid this junk pit!

Waited over a hour at the airport, calling Skyway a dozen times for pickup, but there was no answer. I watched the pickup zone to see if the shuttle would come by. After a hour, I resorted to calling my husband at work to come pick me up. When I arrived to pick up my car there was NO APOLOGY WHATSOEVER. The woman at the desk held up her phone, refused to look me in the eye and said «They’re doing something to the phone – they’ve been down all morning.» She handed me my keys and proceeded to ask for the remaining balance. I told her she had to be kidding and I was not going to pay for a service I didn’t receive, she quickly grabbed my keys back and said «Then I cannot give you your car!»
I waited forever, had to call my husband, and she had the audacity to demand payment and offered NO apology. Terrible customer service and completely defeated my choosing their services to begin with.
In regard to the lot itself, this was the first time I used this shuttle service. Upon arrival I did not feel comfortable leaving my car there (poorly protected, dirt lot, shady area). Against better judgement I left my car there.

Airport shuttle makes this hotel cheap and convenient. Definitely noticed busy parking lot so don’t plan on parking here. Breakfast was warm and included cereal, toast, and waffle maker. It made up for the scratchy sheets, hole in the wall, and dirty old carpet in the room. A fine place for a stopover.

The front desk person is very rude now I’m travel on business a lot and I read some of the reviews after I stay there on
and for the last four months people talked about how rude this truck in person as you ask for a pickup for shuttle any tells you yeah they’re on their way and you wait for an hour I could walk faster stay away from this place it’s not worth your time pay the extra 15 bucks in space somewhere a little bit nicer

It was a place to sleep for a few hours before flying out for less than $ 50… If you go here expecting the Embassy Suites, then you WILL be upset.
PROS:
–At check-​in, the lady at the desk was nice and found our pre-​paid reservation quickly.
–Our room was available right away.
–The SHEETS and pillows on the bed both looked and smelled very clean.
–The water pressure in the shower was good.
–The room smelled nice (no weird smells or smokey smell).
–The Price was right.
CONS:
–There was broken tile that I kept stepping on walking out if the sink/​vanity area.
–Above the toilet, the ceiling was bubbling and swelling from moisture, along with mildew/​mold — concerning.
–We had to throw the top blanket (comforter/​cover) into the corner and sleep under just the sheet because they was a dried, opaque substance that was on it. Didn’t want to take a risk.
–Parking was a total b**tch.

So… we mainly stayed here because it was cheap and had a free shuttle to the airport for our early morning flight. It wasn’t horrible, but I will say, it’s a little bit sketchy. Our room looked clean, but had this really weird smell to it. The bed was a queen size, and not super comfortable. (Also…you get 2, very flat pillows on the bed, that’s it…). For the price, and the fact that we were only there to sleep and get to the airport on time (which is really what they cater to), it wasn’t bad. I wouldn’t stay here for an extended time though.
