BEWAREOFPAYINGCASH($ 20 or over) ATNIGHTFORCIGARETTES! If you do, make sure you’re paying attention, and not chatting with the clerk or others in line, do NOT watch whatever commotion is going on outside on the street worriedly, and definitely, DEFINITELY ask for a receipt. I have been ripped off here so many times in the early morning hours(while I’m stone sober, by the way), it has gotten to a point that even though it’s only a few blocks away, I’d rather walk more blocks to my car in order to drive to the 7 – 11 on Rainier. It’s especially lame because if I’m going there at 3am multiple times per week, I’m more than likely part of the neighborhood, and also more than likely not some millionaire who can just order Amazon delivery for whatever I need… Ripping off one’s own(generally) poor community members is really, really low… Some of the guys here are pretty nice, and granted, they do have to put up with an endless flow of customer B.S., but that being said, there are quite a few cashiers here who repeatedly overcharge-almost exclusively if you’re either asking how their night’s been going or if there’s a loud/scary scene going on outside(or even in!) the store. …So again, why rip me and my friends off when we’re absolutely not stealing things, punching people, or cussing them out? I don’t know, but after the last time I got home, took my change out of my pocket, and realized that I had only gotten $ 3 back from buying a pack of camels with a $ 20, I am certainly NEVER coming back to figure it out. Word to the wise, only pay with a card if you’re coming here at night…

You’re in a convenience store in Pioneer Square. If you’ve spent any time in Pioneer Square this tells you all you need to know. It is ok if you need something basic(tp? aspirin?) and don’t want to travel to an actual store. The stars are for their beer selection, which is actually pretty decent for the small size of the store. The male staff are friendly; there is a female that is always pretty rude.(i.e.- I also had the experience of asking for a paper bag and having it thrown at me, along with an eye roll and a frustrated sigh as if I’m asking for something that really put her out. REALLY? I’m paying for the bag, just give it to me.) My main issue with this place is how they allow other customers to act while in the store. I realize they aren’t the police or even security(although they should probably hire some) and it could be dangerous confronting some of the customers, but come on! I live in Pioneer Square, so I’m very used to the meth heads, threatening pimps and drug dealers, aggressive panhandlers, etc., but you shouldn’t have to be threatened and feel afraid while actually shopping in the store. After 7pm or so I’m afraid to go inside because it’s scarier in there than on the street. Booooo. Avoid, especially if you are female!

The store is clean but now you have to leave your backpack at the counter when you enter, charge $ 2.50 for a large bottle of Smart Water, and charge $.50 for a paper bag to carry three expensive water bottles. Guess the price of convenience is pretty high these days.

My friend lives in the apts across the street and we come here to get chasers before a night out. I appreciate this location for that convience. Staff has always been nice regardless on the state I was in. The pizza i bought here for $ 6 was super clutch during the early morning hours. That grease and fat really came in handy the next morning.

I’ve been here a couple dozen times since I work nearby. Clean store, jerk employees. All the employees except the woman NiNi irritate me. Unhelpful. I asked for help with a clogged Slurpee machine and one guy looked at me and actually walked away. Later, my ½ cup of Slurpee smelled like banana so I asked about it. Another employee said it was switching between flavors«so that’s what’s happening there» and walked away. I never got full cup or help so I just threw it out and left. They should call this one an INCONVENIENCE store.

The staff is extremely rude especially during night time hours. One night the tall intimidating looking guy in the store threw paper bag at me. As if it was inappropriate of me to ask for one. I also think this store employs ill legal workers. As most attendants can barely speak English and do not even smile at customers.

–Very clean, neat, organized. –More local milk with Edaleen Dairy. –About 2 Bolthouse drinks, including the awesome vanilla chai! –A convenient location right on the All-Way crosswalk intersection. –The owner(?) seems really friendly. –Some«different» items scattered and the usual«fresh deli sandwiches» aren’t anything new(same lengthy scroll of an ingredient list).

Very nice staff. I can’t expect much of a 7 – 11 but this one was clean and had a fair selection of ice cream, which included three kinds of magnum bars. However, I think 3 stars is the highest I can rank any convenience store.

first review! this place just opened a week ago and i’m diggin it so far. i’m usually not into chain a store, but this neighborhood really needed a lil 24 hour market action. very clean, the folks behind the counter are super friendly and the prices are reasonable. 18 pack of Rainier beer for $ 13!
