Tons of machines. They wash and dry very well. I’m happy with my experience.

This is only the second laundromat I have tried out in White Center, but I was so pleased with my first time at A & B that since then I have not frequented any other laundromat in the area. There are plenty of washers and dryers, several places to sit, a couple of TV monitors, and a staff member who maintains the cleanliness of the laundromat. The parking lot does tend to fill up, but there is street parking available. Other conveniences: a currency changer machine that accepts $ 1, $ 5, $ 10, and $ 20 bills for quarters; a beverage machine that sells soda and water for $ 0.85; and a counter that sells a variety of snacks for $ 0.85. Detergent and dryer sheets are also sold. Also, a double load costs $ 2.25, a triple load costs $ 3.75, and dryers cost $ 0.25 for 7 minutes. Another plus: Full Tilt ice cream is just two streets down on 16th street. So take my recommendation and wash your clothes at A & B, then treat yo’self to some ice cream while your clothes dry. To evenly paired socks at the end of the dryer cycle, cheers!

For the area, and going off of the other laundromats in the area this one is by far the best one, it is fairly priced there are on duty staff and they keep the place really clean all the time. Washers and dryers both smell good and don’t have any of that mildew smell! All around the best place in the area my opinion!

I like this laundromat, its a little old, but the price is reasonable and the machines clean well. Its actually pretty big and theres a lot of machines so you usually dont have to worry about not getting a washer or dryer. Although I should warn you to never go to any laundromat on a Saturday or sometimes Sunday afternoons/monings, theres A LOTOFPEOPLE. Theres always someone on duty and the floors are usually dry and theres no garbage lying around. Its close to little stores and convenient for yourself especially if you come early in the morning and your hungry, theres usually a store open to give you a snack, if you dont want to walk somewhere while your clothes are washing, they sell little snacks there too. Overall, we come here often when we have the time to, and we clean 2 weeks of clothes for 2 adults and 1 toddler(WHICHIS A LOT) considering my husband works in a factory and I work in a restaurant and a child who pees himself through his diapers often: takes about 1 ½−2 hours to complete including folding. See you there!

My first visit ever to a laundromat. I am glad to say that it wasn’t as awkward, tense or boring as television makes it seem. I think it has a lot to do with the large amounts of machines in various sizes. The nice clerks at the desk also made this experience wonderful. They saw that I looked confused and without hesitation or an attitude took the time to help me and explain how everything worked. There are plenty of places within walking distance to find food(zippys is next door!) and a void of creepy people loitering around.

This place is nothing fancy, but it has plenty of machines of all sizes, so no one seems to ever wait for a machine. I came in at noon on a Sunday when it was fairly crowded and had no problem getting three triple-load machines all next to each other.(Yeah… I had been procrastinating on laundry for a while.) The machines are older but well-kept and about $ 1 less than I was paying in Ballard. There’s a change machine, vending machines for laundry supplies and canned soda, and a few snacks and sundries for sale behind the counter. The only thing that takes it down to 4 stars is that there isn’t much seating(compared to how many machines are available). Still, I’d rather stand than wait for a machine. WiFi would have been nice, but I have my Kindle and data on my phone, so I lived.

1. I caught these guys refilling tide bottles with cheaper no name cleaners and putting them back on the shelf. 2. The 5 washing machines I used today stopped 3 minutes before the timer did. They charge .25 extra for extra extract but instead of extra the machines actually stop early. 3. I asked the attendant to talk to the owner and the owner tried to tell me I wasn’t actually getting what I paid for I was getting what the previous user had selected. I said that isn’t righ and that is bait and switch, fraud and probably several other things. He proceeded to tell me I didn’t understand, that I was confused and that I just needed to keep quiet. All I asked for a $ 1.50 refund and he told me to leave, and that I was not welcome here. 4. Since I was onto one scam I loaded another load and checked the hot water temp with a digital temperature guage. 90 degrees is hot. These guys rip patrons off in every possible way. Why am I here. I am remodeling a laundry room and just wanted to wash clothes but ended up uncovering a scam. The majority of the users in this place are non english speaking minorities. I guess its ok to rip them off? I am also filing a better business bureau complaint. This owner needs to be prosecuted

Basic and clean Laundromat with industrial coin operated washers and dryers. There is a change machine for increments of $ 1, $ 5, $ 10, & $ 20. There are about 4 different sized industrial washing machines(but multiple quantities of each) each size has a different price point. My medium sized load was $ 3.25, kinda expensive I thought. There are also two different sized industrial dryers that dried my load in about 40 minutes for about $ 1.25. Total cost about $ 4.50 for one large load of clothes. There is a nice guy that might own the place, hanging out, cleaning up, making sure there is no trouble. He also will sell you detergent, laundry sheets, and maybe a bag of chips if you need that kind of thing. There is a soda machine and plenty of places to sit and a TV. And there is a parking lot. Pretty basic, pretty clean, pretty good place to wash your clothes.

This is a great little laundromat. I haven’t been to one in a long, long time but I drive by a lot(which makes me glad that I don’t have to use them regularly). However, A & B is clean, has lots of machines, and a really great attendant. As far as laundromats is concerned, I can definitely recommend A & B Laundromat. Extra bonus: lots of Hispanic eateries within walking distance.

This is the best laundromat I’ve been to in Seattle. I live in Georgetown and the laundromats close to hear suck so bad. I came to A&B Laundry around noon on a Sunday. There were plenty of washers available and attendant opened the door for me and helped me in with all my bags. The machines are nice and new, they don’t randomly eat quarters. They are the big awesome high capacity washers and dryers. There is plenty of signage around and clear instructions for using the machines. The dryers are the same. The place is clean and well kept. There is even a little counter where they sell regular sized bottles of detergent and dryer sheets. There are plenty of rolling laundry bins. There are even chairs placed for the folding tables. There aren’t smelly bums drinking beer and oogling girls. It’s well light and comfortable. Seriously, if you are used to doing laundry in White Center area, this place is a breath of fresh air.
