Sofia has been cutting my hair for years.
I used to go to an Aveda salon where I was loyal to the salon, even though the stylists I had there kept leaving. When Sofia started cutting my hair at that salon, I knew I would follow her anywhere… and I have.
Sofia is now in a lovely spot — easy parking, great décor, quiet and private, totally classy — and her haircuts continue to be perfect. She listens carefully, cuts and styles with precision and intention, and is also delightful to spend time with. I always look forward to a haircut with Sofia, and always leave feeling great about the result.

Sofia is a consistent pro. My hair is naturally wavy, and she gives me cuts that allow me to easily wash and go wavy or style straight. I am regularly complimented on my color, even during grow out. More than this, she is a skilled listener, she has the chops to deliver on any idea, and she has the savvy to guide the direction based on my hair and lifestyle. I could not recommend her more highly. If you are new to the area or looking to make a change, schedule with Sofia.

Sofia is the only person I trust with my curly hair! I found her by chance a year ago when I first moved to Seattle, and I will never go anywhere else. If you are a curly haired girl (and have made some poor coloring choices in the past) I could not recommend her more highly. I always leave her chair loving my curls!

I’ve been seeing Sofia since for a couple of years now and I could not be happier! I first started going to her after moving to Seattle and having no idea where to go in this new city. Sofia is always very welcoming and open to trying new things with my hair! She answers all of my silly questions and I know that I’ll always feel great after getting my hair done by her. She’s a hair expert and she’s super cool, so why wouldn’t you go to her?

Sofia is wonderful. Not only because she’s a total expert, she knows what she’s doing and will make your hair look as good as it possibly can, but because she is a lovely person. I look forward to seeing her because (1) my hair will look nice, and (2) I will get a chance to chat with her for at least a half hour. It’s a win-​win. Go see her!

I have been following Sofia all over town for years, and I will continue to go wherever she goes, though I think her location at Sola is pretty perfect. She is the best, simply put. She listens, and does amazing things with her scissors and razors. She does fantastic color as well– she is creative and talented. My hair always gets compliments. If you are stuck in a rut with your stylist, or just looking for a great cut and or colorist, look no further. Sofia is the best. She is also very personable, and pleasant to spend time with!

She’s been cutting my hair for over 5 years now and I was out of town recently and a stranger turned to me in a coffee shop and said «I just have to tell you that your haircut is the perfect shape for your face». An offbeat compliment, yes, but a perfect articulation of why Sofia is so great. She’s so intuitive and builds a cut that will best suit you and your look.

Her instincts are impeccable — I’ve never had a cut I didn’t like, and her suggestions are super creative and always look fantastic. Guys… come here to get a good haircut. I have a lot of thick, course hair and most barbers and stylists shy away from doing my hair, it takes too long. I was with my previous stylist for over 5 years until she had to quit with health problems, and I was in an extended bad-​hair-​life until I found Sofia. I wasn’t used to the looks I started getting from women of all ages and nationalities and my wife doesn’t seem to mind my well-​styled silver hair attracting so much attention. She likes it too!

Sofia is the best. She is not only an expert at cutting and coloring, she is also such a lovely, nice person. I’ve been taking my coarse, unruly locks to Sofia for the past couple of years now and let me tell you– she is amazing! She listens and cares about what her clients have to say. She offers good input and advice on hair– she knows her stuff! She is sweet and easy to talk to. It’s too bad I no longer live in the area because I am not able to see her as often. But whenever I’m back in Seattle, I’m sure to take my hair there– she is good at what she does!
