Pretty much your run of the mill dry cleaners. They don’t do any eco friendly stuff and they don’t deliver. However their prices are fair and they have parking right up front. So it’s very possible to be in and out of here in about 3 minutes and that includes picking up and dropping off clothes at the same time. They also do alterations and fix zippers and all that stuff even though I have never had any of that done before. The turn around time could be a little faster considering their default is 4 days. They will clean your clothes faster but you have to request it. All in all thi is more of a 3.5 star place but we all know Unilocal isn’t an exact science. **Note: If you start going here regularly make sure to bring back your hangers. They recycle them.

«Taking dry-cleaning to a whole new level.» Crisp shirts, pressed slacks and fast turnaround times are just a few reasons why I am a repeat customer with All Star Cleaners. There have many instances where my utter clumsiness have transformed my shirts into an abstract artwork of jams, jellies and sauces. I can always rely on All Star to remove the stains and properly crease my slacks. The staff have always been personable and consistently referred to me by my first name. I have also forgotten to empty pockets prior to dropping off my dry cleaning. I was pleasantly surprised when the owner ran to my vehicle handing me a ten dollar bill that I had left in the pocket. Talk about admirable ethics and dedication to quality customer service. In addition to regular dry cleaning, they also offer alterations, drapery cleaning, and wedding gown preservation. The excellent display of customer service and consistency in quality wins my business.

They are friendly and the cleaning in totally fine. But don’t expect much from alterations. I had a hem around the zipper on some jeans coming out. I asked if that line of stitching would be taken out and stitched. Answer: yes. What I got back was something I could have done myself. They snipped out just the part that was coming loose and sewed over the line of stitching… with a different thread. It just looks like crap. Sorry. Not worth my time or money.

I am giving two stars only because the hemming I received was well done. The service however… I took a skirt I had ordered online in to have 6 inches removed from the bottom. The cost was $ 28 — which is COMPLETELY reasonable! Unfortunately once I got it back it had only 4 inches taken off, and was still far to long for me to wear without heels(something I take no joy in, whatsoever). I immediately brought the skirt back(like 10 minutes later), only to be told by what seemed to be the owner that I was«wrong», and that I was«not right» in thinking that only 4 inches had been taken off. I said that when I came in and the seamstress measured it out, it fit perfectly. I was repeatedly told that I was wrong and that his seamstress was correct. Throughout our arguing back and forth for 5 to 10 minutes, I was at one point told I should wear the skirt over my boobs to fit. Dot… Dot… Dot… I convinced him to do a second mending at half the price. It would not be a big deal to pay $ 42 to have a really nice skirt hemmed, but having to deal with the owner’s concept of customer service was absolutely not worth the price. The work done was quality, but the customer service is abhorrent. I will be going to Bella Cleaner’s a few blocks away from now on. They have a candy bowl.

Hugely expensive and then they did not actually do what I paid for. They should have been much more clear when i dropped off the item.

I’ve been to many dry cleaners throughout Seattle and the Eastside. All I need is for them to reliable, clean, fairly priced, and have basic customer service skills. With so many cleaners around, if I don’t like the one I used, I move onto the next one. I’ve used All Star for close to a year now and I really like them. Since most of my cleaning needs are for dress shirts, I like the fact that they offer 99 cents cleaning for them and everything else is reasonably priced. I’ve had no problems with my clothes and the owner is super friendly. I usually take in a huge pile of clothes and he always helps me load them into my car when I pick them up.

this place is ‘aight.(as in ‘all right’, in a hip and misspelled sort of way, like the amusing posters they have in the window – Mans Shirst, 99cents!) it’s your friendly, family owned neighborhood korean cleaners; nice people and reasonably priced, definitely does the trick. sometimes your shirt buttons come back chipped from the super-ironing but otherwise the place is fantastic.
